Excellent Weekend in Brauhaus-hotel

After an event in Furstenberg, the right tire of our car was damaged and it was 30 mins to Bad Arolsen. We got support from a local garage and we arrived late in the hotel. I informed the night manager up front and he was very supportive, kind and I appreciated his care.
It was a pleasant hotel, clean, quiet and it is located in a prime location in this charming town.
The room was clean, bathroom is well equipped and the shower was good.
The breakfast was simple and they served everything we needed. They served local produce and it was yummy and amazing.
The staff was friendly, spoke well English and very supportive.
I enjoyed our stay in this hotel, I appreciated their care, their support and their service.

Unexpected Delight

Bad Arolsen is a charming little town in northern Hesse. I was there to visit the IRC Tracing Center which has records from WW II persecutions. A somber mission, which is why I am very glad I stayed at this lovely little hotel only a few blocks walking distance from the Center. I had a top floor room under the eaves and it had the feel of Paris, very irma La Douce.
Good updated bathroom, quiet dead end street, lovely built-ins in the good-sized room with its "französches Bett" which is what a real queen or double bed is called in German. The restaurant downstairs was excellent and the staff extremely friendly. Good German food and beer, and they had a delicious Baden rosé (also called "Schillerwein"). Breakfast in the breakfast room was about average, but two weeks of German breakfasts, and I'm ready for something much simpler, anyway.
Down the street was a building from the late 1600s and the hotel, which is next to a brewery, is older than that. Here's the web site: [---]

geschmackvolle Zimmer

Freundliches Hotel mit sehr geschmackvoll und zweckmäßigen eingerichteten Zimmern. Der Service ist normal und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch. Das Frühstück ist mit regionalen Produkten in Ordnung.Total ruhige Lage.

Nettes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt ziemlich nah zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und zum Zentrum der Stadt. Die Ausstattung ist gut. Das Frühstücksbuffett ausreichend und gut. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.
Es gibt ausreichend Möglichkeiten zum Abendessen, einen Platz in den vielen Restaurants zu finden. Das Schloss Arolsen liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Frühstück besser, Zimmer gleichbleibend

Mein Aufenthalt im Oktober wurde vom Inhaber kommentiert... leider gibt die Plattform hier keine Gelegenheit, darauf zu antworten, auch der erneute Aufenthalt im Februar konnte nicht früher bewertet werden. Daher also jetzt:
1.) Das Frühstück war im Oktober wie beschrieben.
2.) Das Frühstück wurde nach meiner Kritik erheblich verbessert und entsprach bei meinem Aufenthalt im Februar der Inhaber-Beschreibung.
3.) Das Zimmer war das gleiche - klar, das ist so einfach auch nicht zu ändern.
Gerne würde ich ein "gut" als Bewettung geben, denn für ein "sehr gut" reicht es beim besten Willen immer noch nicht - nur ist das hier nicht nicht vorgesehen. Schade.
