Restaurant visit better than expected
Were in the restaurant on 5.1.26. We had starters, soups, main course and dessert and it was all very good. The service of the gentleman (service no.8) was top, the ambience quite cozy and we felt very comfortable from the beginning. I haven't written a review on Tripadvisor so far, but can't reflect the partly negative reviews, because everything was nicely arranged from front to back and tasted just as good. The desserts are a bombshell and almost impossible for one alone. We would definitely come back!

As a group traveler guest 2. Class
We were in the ramen of prevention measures in a group on site, hotel amenities were good, the food as part of a full board was not. We got a 3-course meal as a group, is ok, but too little, loveless (e.g. with lactose intolerance, the sauce was simply omitted: Fish with rice is then a very dry affair). Measured by what the "normal" guests received, we were felt as a group as guests 2. Class treated.
At noon there was a small buffet with salad, soup, 2 dishes and cakes, which in other houses is then more called 3/4 board or lunch snack.

No wellness for vegetarians
Unfortunately, this hotel is not moving with the times and makes it my 7th vegetarian hotel. Year as a result not easy to relax on a culinary level. This time I even got despite booked veg. Menu several times in the evening meat set. With the soup, the bacon was so small that I didn't notice until it was already too late and in the stomach... The soup was on my menu without bacon as a veg., unfortunately the chef apparently does not pay attention to veggis. I felt nauseous the night and the next day and ultimately lost a whole day of spa treatments because of it.
At the lunch buffet it is also not awarded or felt necessary. So already one or two croissants got into the garbage, because suddenly ham appeared inside. Very unfortunate, unnecessarily annoying and unsustainable. If you have any questions about the laid-out food without any note of ingredients, I was still pampered last year you would have bread and salad.
The honest understanding of this now actually very common diet is apparently missing here, the consultation of the kitchen on the individual ingredients does not work, so I can no longer recommend this hotel to vegetarians. Unfortunately, despite complaints over the years, there has been no improvement in this regard, which is why it will have been my last visit there with a heavy heart. You can't relax like this and my confidence in the dishes is no longer there, you now suspect unidentified bacon everywhere.... Vegetarians are equal people and pay the same food prices as all other guests. For a 4* hotel you can really expect more.
Away from the food problem actually almost all very friendly and loving, as well as the decor. It is a great pity that culinary changes are not moving with the times and that awareness is not even demanded in the kitchen.
The 1 star goes to all loving employees. However, the unwanted meat eating was such a personal nightmare that it is no longer enough for me to outweigh it.

5 out of 10 possible points but with♥️and air up
We booked from Sunday to Tuesday. Unfortunately, we were not able to book our desired treatments because everything was fully booked. We filled two squeezed-in gaps. My manicure and pedicure were expertly very good. It would have been nice to inform the guest maybe two weeks in advance, and to draw attention to the fact that applications are sold out quickly. The bar is also closed from Sunday to Tuesday. It was plausibly justified to us, unfortunately the guest does not get the Service he would have liked accordingly. We found it a shame and in communication with other guests; these too. The Service staff was nice and mixed us something else they could. Big thanks to Katharina, despite a long day at work, still something to mix. The lobby is nice but too cold. Fireplace would be there, but unfortunately was not on. The food, menu, was ok. Unfortunately, I only learned from the senior boss on the second day of the evening that we could have chosen from the card and exchanged. Since I looked at the outside the card and had mentioned it commendably. But this was not presented to us in the evening.I found it a great pity that this information does not go to the guest. At least that's what we did. The menu in the evening unfortunately could not convince me. The spa area is nice and clean. The relaxation rooms are appealing but a bit cool for a 4-star wellness hotel. Which is nice, there is an afternoon buffet which is really nice. Breakfast was great and we had a super nice lady in the breakfast service. Rooms were great.

Traditon and modern approaches, but too little contemporary overall
to our stay was the majority of guests of older semester. This target group apparently feels particularly appealing to style and Mood. It is a hotel with tradition and modern approaches, but then too little contemporary for us.
Not only contemporary, but also stylish and beautiful was our hotel room - we chose the Comet category. Nice also the bathhouse with the pool, also well tempered.
Traditional in the best sense is the restaurant area. Great food and warm Service. Bavaria in its most beautiful form. The breakfast area (conservatory) we found rather cheesy. The breakfast offered everything expected in the category. Very nice the range of regional products.
The family chapel on the hotel grounds is remarkable.
