It was ok for one night but I didn’t like having to pay extra at check in (city tax, apparently). The price advertised should be the price.

Would I have read the reviews better....
I expected what the photos on booking.com show- far from it.
I arrived with my little disabled dog, needs a dog carriage on further routes.
Moving into the 4. Floor. First of all, I was irritated with the equipment, very simple and not corresponding to the photos. But superficially clean, only the stains on the carpet surprised me, at 25 ,-€ per night for the dog I would have expected fussy cleanliness. Then the elevator was also immediately defective. I then moved to the 2. Floor
may change, 1. Floor would be occupied. I'm not sure today... about that later. 1. Room stinks of smoke, although non-smoking room. The receptionist says they're craftsmen's rooms, so how do you avoid that? There you go. I am offered another room immediately. It smells like lilac spray here, they tried to mask the smell of smoke. I'm going back. I'm airing. Then I see on the canopy a smorgasbord of butts. Then I take a closer look: Windows seem to have never been cleaned, stains on the carpet, bathroom heating dirty.
When I claim this, they clean, at the end just a window, the butts are gone, the heat is clean.
In the evening I see young people waiting for Uber, I ask the receptionist if I would expect noise at night, the room is right next to the staircase. Don't worry, she says there aren't many people around. (Then perhaps a room, though larger on the 1 would have been?) I ask the receptionists to get in touch with the owner; I should do this myself, via the website, he would be on vacation. So, so, on vacation, when there is an urgent need for action here. There were families there with prams and seniors in 4. Floor! And the elevator keeps breaking! At my complaint, the shoulders were then shrugged and turned away.
During the night, I am woken up at half past three by the three girls, including a few boys shouting the names of the girls down the hall. I'll open the door and ask the guy if there'd be any rest. No answer, of course.
The next day I leave. No response from the owner, booking.com won't agree with the hotel and I'm sick and tired of the drag of the dog carriage.
But not from Berlin. -Bye.

The overall stay was very good. The cleanliness and services, the female staff was very nice even allowed me to use kitchen microwave to warm my my baby’s milk but on 2nd last day a male staff was bit rude while seeing me using microwave and rudely stopped me even I told him I was told by your colleague I can use it. Weird experience. Other staff especially the lady at reception was always friendly and helpful whenever asked for anything.

Location is good, the workers when you see them are OK however the general atmosphere and the cleanliness of the hotel is questionable
This hotel is faded, and it needs welcoming touches with new decoration, currently it’s unwelcoming and unpleasant

The hotel was nice and clean, and the attention was kind. Calm area. Although the room and common areas was rather simpler than the impression from the pictures. Didn’t try the breakfast.
