Good cozy hotel

The hotel is well located near the metro and bus in a quiet street. It is located in a building with other apartments, which is not common. The decoration of the lounges is refined in a chic classic style. The rooms are spacious, but the bathroom is ridiculously small. The breakfast is very generous and varied. The staff is not particularly warm but is polite.

Terrible customer service, rude and unfriendly.

I just checked into the Elba Hotel in Berlin, and my stay unfortunately started with a very bad impression.
As I walked through the front door, I saw a woman standing there – no uniform, no name tag, nothing to indicate that she was working at the hotel. She made no attempt to greet me. A few moments later, she seemed to realize that I was a new guest, and came in. With an expressionless face and a voice that could have come straight from the ice queen from Arendelle, she muttered a cold “yes?” – no smile, no “good morning,” no “welcome to the hotel.”
I told her that I had just arrived in Berlin and had to check in. She made a dark, incomprehensible sound – as if I had stepped on her foot. At that moment I already regretted booking this hotel.
Without any sign of kindness, she asked me to show ID. I explained that I had my driver's license or a PDF copy of my passport with me. She seemed annoyed and dismissive. I told her that I had already paid for the room through Booking.com and that nowhere did it say that a physical passport was required (I travel regularly for work, and nothing like this has ever happened to me).
She repeated that she needed a passport. I repeated my answer. This back and forth went three times until I finally told her I didn't like her way. I fully understand that ID needs to be checked – but the way she talked to me was neither respectful nor professional.
Finally, she accepted my digital ID and reluctantly allowed me to stay at the hotel. I can understand rules – but at a time when every Service can be evaluated, a little friendliness works wonders. I was friendly and cooperative from the beginning – she clearly wasn’t.
When I told her that I would rate her Service on Google, her tone suddenly changed. But it was already far too late.

I love it.

Very well placed in a residential area rather chic .small garden to take an excellent pdj.very nice living room furnished with good taste.difficult to find a problem.
I love it.
All that's missing are more blackout curtains to have perfection
