Very cozy hotel with several good services even around the actual hotel.

The hotel and restaurant is located on a (small country) road, but is quiet. We had a double room Premium - the room is a comfortable size with seating and a closet where the laundry of a week fits loosely. The small balcony goes towards the parking lot. The bathroom is clean and functional, but not very large. We also liked the fact that the room has no carpet but a wooden/vinyl floor. We also found very positive that we got a bottle of mineral water every day.
The breakfast is good, the baked goods are very delicious. When decorating the breakfast room, which is clean and bright, you can nevertheless see that it is an older floor plan. For this reason, however, there are not live cooking but only scrambled eggs from the counter and a breakfast egg that you cook yourself to your liking.
Dinner is tasty, the choice of menu may not meet every versatility requirement. Especially if you are there for a few days, eg for vegetarians the choice is not very large. You can also choose half board there, which we didn't have. Therefore, we can only rate the day ticket. It was nice that special requests were fulfilled.
The spa is quite new and really great. It's a 4-star rating.
Accommodation of bicycles is an exemplary solution. These can be parked in a separate “stall” with charging facilities. There is space for an estimated 10-12 bikes and if guests put their bikes neatly and are tidy there , maybe 4 more bikes. We also loved that there is a water connection to wash the wheels, wheel tools and a compressor. In our view, this is much more than in other hotels. An impetus for improvement: Bicycle racks for MTB or hangers to connect bikes would be great - some insurance companies require that.
Great is also the parking lot opposite: there it has enough space for the cars and also 4 (!) Charging stations for hybrid vehicles. And then there's an ATM. Strong Service we found.
The staff we experienced throughout as friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay at the Kreuz-Post Hotel

The hotel and the food as well as the pool were great. The boss of the house responded to our wishes and we were satisfied in every respect with the stay.

Beautiful unforgettable New Year's Eve days experienced with friends.

Unforgettable New Year's Eve days experienced with friends at the Hotel Kreuz- Post. Incredible program was organized over the New Year's Eve New Year's Days - always accompanied by the boss himself, such as evening walk through medieval Burkheim, wine tasting with Vespers, torchlight hike with mulled wine, accompanied by the local music society. With the help of the first pruning in the vines and entertaining explanations, afterwards we were spoiled with pretzels and drinks, and much more.
The physical well-being was also taken care of throughout the stay. Great New Year's Eve dinner and on January 1st, there was a brunch buffet, with everything your heart desires. For us, these New Year's Eve days are best remembered.

Fabulous, gladly again

That's as good as it gets. Great service, great rooms, a great spa area and a safe place for our e-bikes.
In addition, a very good price-performance ratio. Gladly so again cross-post on our next Kaiserstuhl bike tour

Disappointed not by the Pension but by the 2 night summer offer

Nice hotel, the outside heat a little dampened by a fan fortunately!
To avoid: the summer offer: 2 nights half board on the first evening and a 4-course meal food and wine on the second. The dishes are ok but we would have liked to enjoy the salad buffet as a starter because we waited 1 hour for the first course and the planned wine served at the beginning was then very hot.
We were 2 and only one bottle ( 0,5l) of water was planned we had to pay the second!! It's a little petty about the Meal Award.
