Nice hotel and good location

We stayed there for one night. Location is great. Directly overlooking the sea with balcony.
Sauna area very nice and the food and staff are very good.
Bathroom and bed were 1a.
Restaurants and shopping street right next door.
Only to be criticized is the unpleasant smell in the hallway ( 1 . level) somewhat after sweat and musty. After airing in the room, the smell in the room was out.
Furthermore, the telecommunications network is generally poor there. The hotel can't help, but someone who needs to be reachable by phone with Telekom, it's just restrictive.

Nice hotel in a central location

The room was very nicely decorated and very spacious, so it surprised us that very little storage space was available. A few cupboard compartments and hangers more would do the decor a lot of good.
What bothered us was that you could not darken the room and the room was always very warm, you could not cool it down. After the reception on 5. Day called to see if everything was okay, we got blackout curtains. Very good service, but the first four nights were not nice.
The staff is very accommodating and friendly throughout the hotel. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and of good quality. The location of the hotel is sensational: Very central in the pedestrian zone and on the dike as well as the view from the breakfast room to the sea. Very nice also the own sauna area, the gym and the possibility to use the leisure pool “Meerzeit”, especially the panoramic sauna. Overall a very nice hotel with the unpleasant room conditions for us.

Great hotel

Very central location, garage available, rooms generous but a little storage space and 2-3 coat hooks would be desirable. Staff at reception and restaurant very friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast buffet very rich, fresh juices you can prepare yourself only with the fried eggs it is a bit cumbersome. Must be ordered from the waiter and you need a lot of patience until they are brought.
Anyway, we would love to come back again and again

Surprise in the North

We stayed at a conference at the Lighthouse in Büsum. And I was more than positively surprised. Finally a hotel where I felt like a guest and not just a paying pass-through item. Employees who convey that they are also comfortable and do not see their job as a lenient punishment but really like to do it. The breakfast buffet was my personal highlight. Varied and in the best quality. The meeting supply was extremely good, contrary to what I otherwise know. Agreements were straightforward and always well implemented. So we would love to come back. Just because work here felt like a vacation. Thanks to the Light House team.

Service to claim. Large gap

We were the 3. Mal on the terrace in the shore. Not good this time, unfortunately. A lot of time passed before the order was taken, although it was not full. Coffee came. Cake on multiple requests and the coffee was almost cold. The question if cinnamon is in the cake (allergy) immediately answered no. Unfortunately, cinnamon was in it. Last time for us.
