Magnificent

His girlfriends' short trip took us to Dinkelsbühl.
We were warmly welcomed with delicious cappuccino and homemade snail noodles. A dream!
Otherwise, the rooms fulfilled all our wishes. Particularly worth mentioning is the impeccable cleanliness, the provision of good literature, the best food and the fabulous bed.
The breakfast was very plentiful and left nothing to be desired. Awesome!
Beate was a very friendly and warm-hearted landlady. We would love to come back.

Excellent choice for Dinkelsbuhl

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Family Gockner's home during May. It is located just outside the old city wall (about a 5-minute walk) in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The surrounding was very clean coupled with great hospitality from Mrs (who gave us good guidance and prepared great breakfast spread) and Mr Gockner (who helped us with our car warning msg in German). We will always remember our stay here as the one with the best value, hearty breakfast and friendly family

Wonderful option for a friendly bnb

This is an extremely friendly home within 10 minute walking distance of Dinkelsbuhl. Having been last year to bigger Rothenburg, (and had a nice stay at Karin's) we wanted to experience the smaller neighbour. We stayed 2 nights and had a day visiting this colourful little town. Frau Gockner welcomed us with a cappucino which we enjoyed in one of 3 clean, fresh rooms. She rents only to one group at a time since the bathroom is across a little breakfast area (which is private to you). If you travel with familyor friends, the 3 double rooms are available or, in our case, we just occupied one and the other 2 were kept vacant. The breakfast was more than ample with offers of more if you were still possibly hungry! Beds were good. Ask for summer featherbeds if you are too hot under the winter ones. Plates and cutlery are supplied on your in-room table. TV is in the breakfast area...we didn't use it, as it isn't really set up as a lounge area. If you are the type of traveller who enjoys being in a home rather than impersonal hotel, this is for you. Our hostess also made recommendations and we enjoyed a dinner at the Anker Restaurant. This was one of our best finds and we would return in a second. Enjoy!

Mehr als " persönlich und professionell " !

Sofort begeistert war ich, als ich die hellen Zimmer und die kleine, gemütliche " Wohn-Nische " besichtigte, - alles da, was man so braucht für Gemütlichkeit.
Ein großes Bett mit guten Matratzen, ein komfortables Bad, alles hübsch sauber und mit detaillverliebter Deko geschmackvoll gestaltet.
Ruhige Lage und einige Vögel zum Beobachten...
Eine herzliche Begrüßung und fachkundige Beratung, wie man auf einem sehr netten
5 - Minuten - Weg zu Fuß ins Städtle kommt !
Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich, lecker und würde jeden Ernährungsberater zufrieden stellen : )
Und für Kunstliebhaber sehr individuelle Bilder des " Hausherrn " im und außerhalb des Hauses...
Dieses Haus ist nicht nur für eine Übernachtung sondern auch für einen Urlaub geeignet !

Absolutes Wohlfühlwochenende

Vielen Dank für ein wunderschönes Adventswochenende, das durch den Aufenthalt im Gästehaus Gockner perfekt abgerundet wurde. Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen, das Frühstück ist nicht zu übertreffen, sehr liebevoll zubereitet, es fehlte an nichts. Die Zimmer sowie das Bad sind sehr komfortabel, die Lage zur Altstadt prima.
