Wonderful wellness hotel in the vineyards
A hotel with charm. We felt welcome and comfortable immediately. The breakfast was fresh and regional. The rooms were very spacious and well-maintained. An air conditioning problem was fixed immediately. We will definitely come back again for a longer stay.

trouble shooting is not their forte
Great reviews, which we cannot share. Upon arrival, we were referred to the 3:00 PM check-in time, which is now also practiced in high-end establishments. We bridged the gap with a small lunch in the neighborhood and were then back at the reception promptly at 3:00 PM, but in vain, because the room was not yet ready. We were told to wait another 10 minutes. Then the disaster: After a short period of time, the very confident young lady from the reception appeared to us in the lounge and said that the staff had only just entered the room reserved for us. Our objection that the reception had known about this for a long time was followed by a flat-out lie that it had all just been communicated incorrectly (is that politician-speak? If so, where and from whom does one learn that?
The next catastrophe: the air conditioning in temperatures up to 35 degrees! The failure was reported immediately, a technician appeared, but regretted that he could not do anything. The emergency service had to be contacted. The next morning—oh wonder—the system was running again, only to refuse service again in the course of the afternoon. Intensive follow-up at the front desk then led to the admission that the air conditioning could no longer be started on said day, whereupon we announced our departure for the next morning.
Upon departure, the hotel was accommodating, and they refunded the costs already paid for that night without any issues. At least something!!! By the way, whenever something goes wrong in the establishment, one is consoled with a free choice of a cocktail at the bar.
Otherwise, the hotel's location, amenities, breakfast, and spa met expectations. Here, the establishment presented itself as we remembered it from multiple and multi-day previous stays. Will we come back? Probably not!!!

Wir bedauern sehr, dass wir Ihre Erwartungen bei Ihrem erneuten Besuch nicht erfüllen konnten.
Dass Ihr Zimmer am Anreisetag nicht rechtzeitig fertiggestellt wurde, tut uns sehr leid. Dies entspricht nicht unserem eigenen Anspruch und wir möchten uns hierfür aufrichtig entschuldigen.
Selbstverständlich lügen wir unsere Gäste nicht an, die Zimmerreinigung erfolgt unabhängig von der tatsächlichen Ankunftszeit.
Ebenfalls bedauern wir den Ausfall der Klimaanalge. Die entsprechende Fachfirma hat mit höchster Dringlichkeit versucht, die Anlage wieder in Gang zu setzen.
Da entsprechende Ersatzteile nicht auf Lager waren, hat dies einige Tage in Anspruch genommen.
Uns ist durchaus bewusst, dass eine funktionierende Klimaanlage gerade bei den aktuellen Temperaturen essenziell ist.
Wir hätten uns jedoch vor Ort ein wenig Verständnis gewünscht, da die Situation für unser gesamtes Team belastend war.
Um den Aufenthalt dennoch angenehm zu gestalten, haben wir uns vor Ort große Mühe gegeben, Ihnen durch Getränke und weitere Aufmerksamkeiten etwas Freude zu bereiten.
Schade, dass dies für sie nicht ausreichend war.

Experience at this establishment as the days went by, to the point that it will make us return on another occasion, the staff's treatment was correct and very polite, from the front desk to the breakfast service, which by the way, was very complete and delicious, quality in the products offered. Hotel with well-maintained facilities in every aspect and enjoy the spa, the area is very beautiful and we loved the location, perfect for going out to discover the Black Forest. The hotel has many corners with history and to discover it..

Everything was really fine.
The hotel was clean, the food was good. Interior was really nice. So if I ever be in this places again, this would be my choice.

Great hotel with swimming pool, sauna and a super breakfast!
Great hotel! We love the rooms, swimming pool, sauna’s and the best breakfast in the area. The staff is very friendly. There is good parking.
