It's all good.

The hotel is very good, the rooms are comfortable, the beds are comfortable and the staff are very welcoming. The hotel is quiet and tidy, the facilities are good, the gym and lounge area are convenient. Breakfast is varied, but the only thing less satisfying is that there are too many people at breakfast time, it's more crowded and there's a queue. The neighborhood is conveniently located within walking distance of shopping malls and restaurants. Other than that, everything is fine and I would still consider coming back and would recommend it to a friend.

Beds, room, bath and breakfast good

The stay was very good. Also affordable and bath was also good, quick emptying and quickly filled again. 2x 2 beds next to each other was a nice with 2 children aged 5 and 8, they also liked it. Breakfast was also good. Only awkwardness was the parking lot, it was difficult to find, but eventually found. It's like 15 euros a night.

The grey duck has become a beautiful swan.

In the transition period between the previous chain and Voco (as a Hotel am Seestern during the pandemic) in the middle of a construction site, it was still slightly different than today. But the headline says it all. This is especially true for the rooms. The Starfish is an office district and there is little going on on on a holiday. So there was no full breakfast buffet, but I was offered directly that I could order à la carte what else is available during the week. Otherwise, as an IHG loyalty member, I was received with special attention.

Good hotel with convenient location!

During our visit to Düsseldorf for the Christmas market we stayed at this hotel. The location is ideal: the metro stops practically in front of the door and takes you to the center in just 15 minutes. Very handy!
The rooms are spacious enough for two people and a child, which worked well for us. The stay was comfortable but we did miss a fridge in the room. Also a possibility to buy something to drink or a snack for use in the room would be a nice addition. A vending machine, for example.
The breakfast was good and extensive. Everything was always replenished neatly and on time. A small improvement is that there is only one coffee machine; there was often a queue and you sometimes had to wait a while.
In short, a good hotel for a city trip if you especially want to discover the city yourself with, for example, the metro! There is little else to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
