Eislingen's Newer Hotel

One of the better (if not the best) hotel, in Eislinger, in my opinion. Friendly staff that are eager to help. The rooms have comfortable beds air conditioning, as well as a coffee maker (both rare in other hotels in the area) and are clean and efficient. The restaurant provides a good but limited main menu and the breakfast is also good. The WIFI works well.

Nice, modern hotel

This is a nice, modern hotel. We were in town for a wedding, however a member of the bridal party had to make the reservation on our behalf, as It was difficult to make a reservation because the website would not translate into English, and upon arrival, the staff didn't speak any English either.
The restaurant and the breakfast was very nice. The room was also comfortable, however the pillows were so small you could have mistaken them for throw pillows!
We did notice after we had left that we had been charged for the breakfast that was supposedly included, which was disappointing. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

Minor deficiencies does not overshadow hotel's good business offer

Built in 2015, Hotel Eislinger Tor looks modern and is in my humble opinion the best accommodation for business travelers in 100 km radius.
Large (and free of charge) parking in front of Hotel can accommodate a lot of cars.
All rooms are the same type (located at one, a bit gloomy floor). Decor of rooms and entire hotel is modern and easy on the eye.
Bed in my room (#112) was quite large, however mattress was overly firm (however it wasn't that firm that it put me off from a sleep).
Free Internet access was surprisingly fast.
Buffet breakfast was quite varied and tasty.
Indeed, there is still a room for improvement in the hotel.
Receptionists, as my preceding reviewer had indicated, didn't speak in english too fluently.
TV programs are only in GERMAN...
It would be great if there would be a kettle with a tea-set available as a standard equipment in a room.
Lastly, price / value ratio was quite ok, 100 EUR for a night with a breakfast does not seem to be a bargain, however there is no comparable place to stay overnight in the neighborhood for that price.

Very nice and new hotel but breakfast is awful!

This is a very new hotel in town. Have to say I like everything about this hotel from decoration, cleanliness, WIFI connection and service. However, the breakfast is really bad, the variety and quality of the food is just horrible. The last day we stayed there, there were a few items left such as super hard bread and a couple bacons even though it was still pretty early in the morning. We had to ask the hotel to make us fried eggs and that not without a negotiation with the staff.

Efforts to be made with international customers and improve the sense of hospitality

The hotel looks great, but it still need some fixing.
The italian style shower is not convenient as the glass partition is too short : water sprays everywhere...
No International TV programs, only german : foreigners welcome ?
The staff at the front desk needs to improve its english.
Finally the restaurant : the food is good, but the staff is a bit rough. Again about the language, there is only one menu in english for the entire restaurant.
