Nice Experience with Hotel Shawi in Frankfurt
The reception was very friendly and answered my questions immediately and clarified. I felt very comfortable. I can only recommend it. Very cheap and comfortable hotel for living in Frankfurt, although it is close to Frankfurt Airport and Frankfurt Train Station.

There was not even enough towels and no shampoo or body wash. I wish they had told us about it before arriving.

Absolute insider tip for yoga retreat!
The rooms: The rooms in the basement with a view of the ecologically designed natural garden are particularly recommended. The interior is from a bygone era. Anyone who suspects bulky waste here really has no sense of humor. The body zone mattresses with gravity funnels that keep the Manipura Chakra stable are also worth mentioning.
Somewhat disappointing: Digital detox is not consistently implemented. The televisions have no reception - good. But WiFi is available - a shame! On the other hand, incense sticks and hashish pipes are not denounced by the usual smoke detectors. That's fine.
Eating and drinking: "Buchinger fasting" is offered as a permanent event in the hotel's own restaurant. To ensure that everyone can stick it out, the minibars have been banned from the rooms. Great, that's how it works. Nevertheless, a few dropouts were spotted in the neighboring department stores and in the hotel car park. Shame on you.
The highlights in the surrounding area: Open-air exhibition of historic construction machines right next door. Hard-working neighbors, almost all with their own company. Daily air show over the town. It's only a few kilometers to Wixhausen.
For only €122 per night, my expectations of a retreat were completely exceeded! Many thanks to the Indian yoga masters from the hotel management for the inspiring time!
Other travel tips: Book a hotel room in good time for trade fairs in Frankfurt - or even better: postpone your trip. If you have to go to Wixhausen: watch out!
