Simple, clean, cheap! TOP
Friendly ladies, good service, very clean, well-kept ambience and a delicious, plentiful breakfast. Our room was a bit noisy due to its location, but it wasn't a problem with the window closed. Definitely a place to come back to

Simple but very good
I have stayed here now quite a number of times, usually for one or two nights at a time while in the area on business.
It is typically efficient and very very well priced.
The rooms are a litte on the small side but very well appointed and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful and you are welcomed back with a smile.
Value for money is excellent with many hotels in the area charging lots more and offering much less.
The wifi is good.
The pizza resturant below is also failrly good. There is an honesty fridge which is a little unusual but it has a great selection of local beers.
In summer it is excllent with outside seating by the canal where you can just sit and relax. While on the subject of location Wieck is a lovely little spot though a bit bleak in winter but lovely in summer.
Parking is a little limited and becomes a bit problmatic in summer but there is a large public car park a few hudred meters away.
I leave early so I have never had the breakfast so can't comment on how good that is.
All I can say in closing in the Zur Brucke has become my hotel of choice everytime in the area and I've tried at least 7 different places in the area. I'm still trying to figure out why I didn't write a review before......

A sweet little hotel at great location
That is such a nice little hotel, very cosy clean nice rooms at „Wieck“ area which is a bit at the edge of city Greifswald, directly located at the channel and surrounded by facilities like restaurants, hair dresser etc.
Price efficacy is excellent. Few parking spots available and free WIFI. Breakfast was kind and sufficient.
I‘d loved to give 5 points, however in the bath room they only provide a hand wash lotion but nothing for the shower. Not even soap. This is pretty unusual for a German Hotel, as most travellers would not bring their stuff mandatorily with them (I never do). That was however the only little „pit fall“ I recognized.
This cosy house is definitely 100% recommendation - also if you are planning tp stay longer as a holiday hotel.

Lovely location
The view from our room was just amazing! With the windows facing the river and Wiecker Klappbrücke, we had a permanent sailboat show going on in front of us. The hotel is wonderfully located, within the walking distance to the sea, Eldena beach, and amidst many good restaurants. WiFi was great and the breakfast buffet, too. Double bed was comfortable and large enough for 2 adults and a child, bathroom spotlessly clean.
Some bad points: Although we booked a room with balcony, upon our arrival, we heard some fuzzy explanations that our room is not free, because the other guests "decided" to stay longer, apparently without booking. Instead of kicking them out to another room, the manager decided to relocate us to a room without balcony. This is clearly not correct. He charged us the reduced nightly rate upon departure, but we would still prefer to have the room we booked.
There is no elevator and dragging heavy bags up the narrow staircase is challenging.
The hotel has only 5 parking slots in the back of the house. Public parking with a weird payment system must be used (located 150 m along the street).

Lovely hotel!
This hotel was a nice surprise to me and my family. We arrived very early in the morning, strait from the night ferry. At arrival we asked for breakfast and were immediately taken to the breakfast room (for a charge, for course) and then they hurried with our rooms so that we were able to have them already by ten thirty. Very kind and we appreciated this a lot since we needed a shower and the kids needed a nap! The hotel is very well located, near the pretty bridge and overlooking the charming harbor. It's spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious.
