Excellent value for money, on the doorstep of the Harz.

We were here with 2 couples in the hot days of August 2024 and had a great time: this is a very unique accommodation with various objects that provided insight into the history of this building. Many decades ago, there was an outdoor swimming pool here and in various places in this pension there are photos that reminded us of that time.
The rooms were very spacious and were decorated with great attention to detail. It must be said that the rooms do not have air conditioning, which made it a bit warm at night. Fortunately, this pension is located in a beautiful green and quiet area, so we could open the windows at night without any problems.
The bathroom was good and clean, although somewhat dated.
Unlike many other hotels and pensions, breakfast was already put on our table here: the rolls, the sandwich toppings, the yogurt, the fruit juices: it was all ready and presented in a beautiful way. Perhaps it would have been nice if there had also been a choice of yogurt without sugar, but that is only a small detail. Coffee or tea could also be ordered as desired.
Parking is no problem at all, and can be done directly (at the back) of the building.
All the staff we encountered were very friendly, from the lady who checked us in to the people who cleaned the rooms.
The location of this pension is -certainly with a car- ideal: many destinations in the Harz can be easily reached from here, such as Quedlinburg, Wernigerode, Thale (with its famous Hexentanzplatz). Halberstadt itself is also worth a visit: especially the impressive Domschatz.
All in all, recommended !

Eine gute günstige Unterkunft

Das Zimmer war freundlich und sauber. Ein schönes Bett. Das war sehr gut. Das Frühstück wurde auf Grund Corona noch am Platz serviert. Es war von allem genügend vorhanden und natürlich bei Bedarf nachgereicht . Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Alles in Allem ei e gute Möglichkeit gut zu übernachten.

Originelle Location

Wenn wir gewußt hätten, wie schön es hier ist, hätten wir es gleich ausgesucht. Die Stadtinformation empfahl uns diese großen Pension (die eigentlich hotelcharakter hat), und sie hatte recht! Auch das Restaurant ist vorzüglich und historisch interessant gestaltet. Der Service ist engagiert. Vielen Dank!

Immer wieder gwrn

Herzliche Bedienung, super Essen,hervorragendes Preis-Leistung Leistungs- Verhältnis, Hundefreundlich.
Wir brauchen gar keinen Getränkewunsch äußern, alles Klar, beim Essen genau so, jeder Sonderwunsch ist schon gespeichert.
Einfach großartig.

Klein und gemütlich

Wir haben hier mit Freunden übernachtet. Die Zimmer sind ganz frisch renoviert, geschmackvoll eingerichtet - zum Wohlfühlen. Das Frühstück war schmackhaft. Es empfiehlt sich, das Restaurant auch mittags oder abends auszuprobieren, da das Essen sehr zu empfehlen ist.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
