Great customer support. Go out if their way to accommodate.

Had chosen the hotel for the location. Found Service excellent, rooms in very good condition and I could choose room location. When I misplaced my car key, I immediately found help finding the key. Small, very pleasant hotel.
Great support when things don’t go as planned.

Disgraceful annex not justified by wonderful misleading hotel photographs.

It looks quite a reasonable hotel from the photos advertising it but the reality is far worse.
My wife and I arrived at the “hotel” at around 18:40 in June, 2025.
First, there was no lift - we had to walk up to a first-floor reception where we had to wait ten minutes to speak with an unfriendly man who didn’t speak reasonable English.
We were told our room number 39 was not in the main building, the hotel, but in an “annex”, “just down the street.”
So, we go back down the staircase with our over-night luggage and walk some hundred meters to see that our room was on a third floor, only accessible by a narrow, external, spiral staircase. To my wife with an arthritic knee and to myself for aesthetic reasons, this was unacceptable.
We were given a key to room 19 on the ground floor, in the same “annex” building.
This room only had insecure, insufficient ventilation from a poorly operating, tall, narrow pivot window.
We smelt the smoke from someone smoking a cigarette outside.
The bathroom had an extraction fan that was not working. The main light-switch just to the right of the entrance door was not working.
The toilet was so close to where our heads would be in the bed. No double quilt but two single quilts.
We complained strongly but didn’t get a refund. This was a terrible experience on our holiday and cost us much extra money having to find other last-minute accommodation at 21:45.
In our opinion, this hotel shouldn’t be allowed to offer rooms in this annex as they are disgraceful and spoil the reputation for Heidelberg which is otherwise, a splendid city.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I called the manager and the owner to help us – no other Mögli

I stayed in a budget room in June 2025. Outside it was 30 degrees, in the room over 40 degrees! There was no climate, only hairdryer, and it was impossible to sleep or stay there. We had a terrible experience.

Extremely unprofessional! - can only advise against it

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with the hotel. Because of a wedding, we called early to inquire about overnight accommodation for guests. When we first contacted them, we were informed that there were 17 rooms available. We were asked to write an email to block them, which we did immediately after the conversation. Since the email was not answered, we called twice. When we asked for the first time, we were informed that the email had been received, and when we asked for the second time, we were told that all the rooms were now reserved. There was no response to the email. Extremely unprofessional!

Prima hotel voor stadstour

Beetje vreemd dat de receptie een paar 100 meter verderop zit, maar verder prima hotel. Ook handig dat de tram bijna voor de deur stopt, dus goede verbinding met de binnenstad (van halte Biethsstrasse – naar halte Bismarckplatz)
