Clean and tidy hotel in a great location.
We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights.
A double room at the front with a great view of the ocean from the balcony. The room was clean, plenty of pillows, comfy bed, central heating the bathroom was small but well formed and there was plenty of hot water.
The other room was at the back. A single room with a sofa and it was a similar size to the front room containing all amenities..
There was plenty of choice for breakfast.
We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel on the last day because the boats do not leave until 1630.

Okay for a few nights
I had a friendly welcome by the lady who is running the hotel and was installed in a single room under the roof. The room was small but had a fantastic view of the harbour promenade and Düne. The room was clean and comfortable with a clock radio, flatscreen, and hairdryer. I noticed that there was wifi in the hotel, but I was never given the password (and couldn't ask for it as I left very early in the morning and came back late at night).
I arrived a day later than expected because the ferry was cancelled due to bad weater. I contacted my travel agent to cancel the first night and was told that the b&b would do so without charging me for the lost night. However, on checkout I was still charged with the extra night.

Decent hotel on Helgoland insel
We went to Helgoland on a photography trip. We stayed 3 nights in hotel Hues Weeterkant. We stayed in a room with seaview. The room is ok, bathroom has shower but is a bit small. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but clean. Breakfast is buffet and is quite ok. There's a fridge in the cellar with drinks, prices of the drinks are certainly good. (1.8 eur for a beer) Wifi has to be payed. I was a bit disappointed in the staff. One day we were sitting on the terrace and the owner asked to move because they wanted to arrange the seats for the day after ... I would do that after my guests, but who am I ... All together a decent hotel on the Helgoland Island.

Sightseeing baby seals
The lady was deffinetly crued and not forthcoming at all. We asked for internet and she omited to tell us that internet was free on the island, but cost 3 Euro per 24 hours at her place.
She also omited to tell us, that no ship departed on our departure day, nither on the day before, because of the strong wind, We were lucky to be early at the information desk of Helgoland, who told us we had no other option than to book a flight. We just got the last 2 seats back to the coast.
Than she turned off the heating when we went off in the morning. When we came back in the afternoon, both room and bathroom where cold.
Finaly she was absent the day we left and nobody said goodby.

Hotel on the Island
This hotel is located with a view to the sea and harbour. Rooms are clean. Bathroom is rather small. Some of our party had a cold shower. Bathroom is looking dated and can use a update.
The bedlight above the bed is not handy, you can hit your head when you are getting up.
There is a bar in the cellar and is very 70's style. Can use a update in my opinion. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly.
