Great stay

Great hotel. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean and spacious. Great location, 15 min walk into the centre. Thank you!

Air conditioning is not working.

This is the third time I have stayed in this hotel.
Central, very well served, excellent breakfast, river view.
This time my room faced the street and there was some construction work. Renovation in progress. They did not disturb from a noise perspective, but evidently they had some impact on the plumbing system since the air conditioning was not working. 36 degrees and no air conditioning: madness! Considering the price per night!!!

For this reason, we are especially sorry that your most recent stay did not meet your expectations. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to be without air conditioning during temperatures of 36°C. Unfortunately, we too have had to deal with unforeseen circumstances. There was a technical defect, which we will resolve as quickly as possible. We are delighted to hear that you once again enjoyed our central location, service, breakfast and river views. At the same time, we apologize that the ongoing renovation work, although not particularly noisy, appears to have affected your comfort during your stay. We understand your disappointment, especially considering the room rate and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Astonished already upon arrival

The staff lacks empathy and professionalism. I have asked about check-in multiple times. Each time I received the response that the room was ready, but I could not check in yet. The bar was closed, and I was not offered any drinks. All guests who arrived after me were able to check in.
I had paid extra for an early check-in. However, communication only occurred loudly across the entire hallway with other staff members. No MOD or similar was available to speak to.
Sorry, but there is an absolute need for training. Such a great hotel must offer more.

Tatsächlich verfügen wir über eine größere Anzahl an Standardzimmern, wodurch diese häufig früher bezugsfertig sind. Unabhängig davon nehmen wir Ihre Hinweise zur Kommunikation und zum Umgang mit wartenden Gästen sehr ernst. Ein professioneller, aufmerksamer und wertschätzender Service sollte jederzeit gewährleistet sein. Trendy house by the Rhine but with weaknesses for visitors staying longer.

Modern, stylishly designed house with well-equipped rooms directly by the Rhine. Partially, however, with unqualified staff and inadequate organization, especially when conducting a seminar for a week in the house. Culinary performance: rather average. The many rat traps around the house do not create a positive impression either. Nevertheless: Everything in the house is clean.

Overall, very pleased. Staff at reception claimed that I hadn’t paid for breakfast to be included. However, after I’d showed my receipt for the stay, the problem was resolved immediately.
