Nice end to our classic car season

For the very good hospitality at the last meeting of the I.F.e.S. “Interest group driver of English sports cars”, I would like to thank the whole team of the hotel on behalf of all participants. A friendly staff, very good-tasting food and neat drinks in a cozy atmosphere, duly ended the last day of our classic car season. You guys did a great job, we're definitely going to take a look back.

Incredibly lousy waiter

I only want to rate the restaurant, as we didn't stay at the hotel.
We had reserved a table for 5 people and a small dog for my father-in-law's 77th birthday. We were told over the phone that we could bring the small dog. We hadn't even gotten inside when an unkempt waiter (barely any teeth, greasy ponytail, unkempt beard) hissed at us and told us to take the dog out immediately. We told him that it had been agreed to bring the dog. He wouldn't go along with it at all. I asked for the manager of the restaurant. He claimed he was the manager! But that wasn't true. At that moment the real manager came over and told the unfriendly waiter that there had indeed been an agreement. The waiter wouldn't go along with it at all. The manager was obviously not able to assert herself at all. We had really lost interest in this restaurant. We then drove to a nice restaurant in Güstrow on the market, where we and the dog were greeted and served very friendly! We can't say anything about the food at the Wiesengrund restaurant.

Wonderful Stay in Lalendorf

This is one of the nicest hotel/restaurants that we have stayed in on our many many weeks of bicycle traveling through Europe in the past 20+ years . Our room was absolutely great with a separate sitting area with a sofa and comfortable chairs . Great use of color throughout the room . Very comfortable bed and an amazing large and clean bathroom . Multiple windows and glass doors in room 16 to provide light . Good WiFi .
On-site Restaurant was closed on Sunday night but a short 1.8km bike ride took us to Zur Schmeide Restaurant which was really great . The grounds are well maintained and quite beautiful.
More than adequate breakfast was included.
Would truly have liked to stay here for several days

Geheim Tipp für gute Küche

Schönes Willkommen, guter Service und leckeres Essen. Die Getränke wurden schnell serviert und das Essen war rasch da und wie immer Mega lecker. Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet und wenn der Kamin an ist das richtig angenehm. Wir kommen bald wieder.

Ruhiges Hotel

Die Anlage war schön gepflegt. Unser Zimmer war recht groß und sauber, das Bad etwas verwinkelt. In der Dusche war nicht allzuviel Platz, um sich groß zu bewegen. Das Personal war freundlich, sehr unkompliziert. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr schlicht, aber ok.
