Very disappointing stay
Our room was in the basement, was very run-down, and the terrace bordered directly on the garage and the kitchen area. In addition, there was a strong nicotine/smoke smell in the entire hallway, as hotel staff apparently smoke directly there regularly.
Regarding the room:
The bed was scratched and overall very run-down.
In the shower, there was initially only cold water.
The bathroom was not particularly clean.
Room cleaning did not take place until the second day. Especially when an additional $18 per day is charged for a dog, I would expect at least regular cleaning or floor cleaning.
The walls in the room were partially damp and very poorly plastered, so that plaster was already falling off.
In the hallway, too, plaster was coming off the ceiling in one spot.
The hotel is extremely noisy overall.
After the first night, we asked to get a different room, preferably with a balcony. Above all, we wanted to escape the strong smell of smoke and at the same time have a secure option for our dog, without it being able to simply run away.
Towels were also only provided after asking several times.
The parking options at the hotel are also very difficult. The existing garage also makes a distinct impression of needing renovation.
The entire hotel has obviously aged significantly – unfortunately, you notice this clearly in many places.
The reaction at check-out was also particularly disappointing for us. We were asked about our stay. To my honest answer that we were very dissatisfied, the only statement was: "We are fully booked." Unfortunately, there was no apology or serious response to the problems mentioned.
Positive:
The breakfast was good and the pool area is also basically fine.
However, we found the steam grotto to be very unhygienic. It smelled strongly of dampness or mold to us there.
Overall, our stay was unfortunately a big disappointment. We consciously chose this hotel, also because dogs are welcome. For the price and especially the additional 18 € per day for the dog, we would have expected significantly more cleanliness, maintenance, and service.
Unfortunately, not a recommendation for us.

Good but needs improvement in detail
Very nice and helpful staff.
The playroom could use a little love (few and broken toys) but is very clean.
The pool, both indoors and outdoors, was always clean and tidy but a bit aged in terms of construction.
