I had booked this hotel especially for the ability to dine in the restaurant, as we had completed a 10 hour drive en-route to the UK from Sweden. On arrival we were surprised to be told that the restaurant was closed for a local festival. Why were we not informed that before booking? Therefore we were told that we should travel to the neighbouring town to get a meal! Unbelievable really.
The next issue was that our room was uncomfortably hot. Note: to others, rooms here do not have air conditioning! I asked reception if they might have a fan to use, we were abruptly told no. A hot night then it was for us.
Everything else was fine.

An unforgettable experience

We celebrated our golden wedding at Stratmanns. The preliminary discussions were very informative. We could get the deli for 20 people. The room is a dream, unique, something completely different. Our children were allowed to decorate the room. We were overwhelmed by how beautiful the room has become.
The selected food was excellently put together!!
Everything had tasted very good, our guests were delighted.
The service and care on our day of honor was simply wonderful. Very attentive, always responsive.
The celebration was a complete success thanks to the Stratmann family.
The booked De Luxe rooms
They're very nice. Even our son with family (5 people) had a large room with cot.
Nothing was missing. Breakfast at Stratmanns you just have to enjoy. Nothing is missing, everything fresh and tasty.
We went to 3. Every time in this hotel and are greeted very friendly and accommodating.
We'll be back in two weeks.
A big thank you to all the staff at Hotel Stratmanns who made our festive day an unforgettable one.
