Will try it another time

First time we visited this hotel. Had booked as it was right out to the Rhine. The room was lovely with air conditioning.
Only light dishes are served in the evening, where you can sit at small tables or long tables as well as in the bar and eat your food. However, we chose a nearby restaurant, but ate the breakfast in the same way from a buffet.
Funny and different place.

Nice location

Nice location on the Rhine opposite a mega shopping center. Friendly welcome and friendly staff. Modern decorated hotel, there is a good atmosphere and it is cozy. You can have a drink and order small meals. Rooms are quite small, but well furnished as well as the bathroom. Restaurants within walking distance.

Nice budget hotel

The hotel is next to the big shopping center Rhein Galerie, directly at the riverside of the Rhein located.
It’s a budget hotel, but the building and the interior is in a very good condition.
The room was very clean and not too small.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
You can find several restaurants in the shopping mall or near to the hotel.
This area is not very interisting, but only a short foodwalk away from the hotel is a tram station to Mannheim. It takes only 10min from there to Mannheim‘s old town.

Overall, the hotel was fantastic. The room was small, but it was nicely laid out. Perfect for one person or a couple. I like the fact that there’s a downstairs meeting area/bar. Makes it very convenient.

No heating, not clean, party music from outside

We booked a twin room. When we arrived, they prepared a one-bed room for us instead. It took almost half an hour of waiting time in the lobby until we could go to a room that had two beds.
The room was ice cold (16 degrees Celsius, 60 degrees Fahrenheit) and the heating didn't work: it only blew cold air.
The room was not clean: thick dust on all glass tables. It looked like this room wasn't used for months.
Directly in front of the hotel, there was an open air party area with eating stalls, wine, and extremely loud music. The furniture in the lobby vibrated from the bass subwoofer outside... I was told that this happens regularly, since the place in front of the hotel is used as an event location.
The room was very cheap, but I only booked it because I needed two more nights to complete my 50 Marriott Bonvoy nights "last minute" for this year and there was no other hotel from the chain in the area. Would never go there again. Anyway, if you are on a tight busget, then it might be an option.
The Osteria restaurant nearby was very nice, though.
