Lovely hotel in countryside setting and nice restaurant

Lovely family run hotel in countryside setting, relaxed atmosphere, nice room with comfortable beds, great location and just 15 minutes from the motorway, the restaurant serves nice food with great menu, there is plenty of parking and also a few electric charging spaces,

Very pleasant short weekend at Gasthof Marienthal

This place is highly recommended.
Very friendly hotel owners. Nice cozy room.
Good breakfast.
We liked it very much and we will definitely book the hotel again.

dissapoointing

When we arrived in our hotelroom it was clear to us, that two of the wastebins (one in the room, one in the bathroom) were still filled with small garbage left by the hotelgasts, who stayed before us. Also there was no soap in the shower. After reporting this evertything was corrected, but it feelt a little bit uncomfortable that our room was not cleaned as it should be. When we places our bed sheets on our bed, we noticed that the bedsheets were also damaged. See photo. We would not stay here again. There are beter gasthof and also cheaper one's.

Simple and good!

We were coming back home and needed to sleep in somewhere to rest before return. We found this simple and quiet hotel in a very nice area.
The room was very clean and great, the owner very polite.
They have a restaurant and good food!
A excelent breakfast wait for you on Sundays!
Certainly it is a place to return!
