The breakfast had a ton of options and was delicious. The staff, Bridgette, was phenomenal- she made custom eggs and cooked bacon fresh, helped us secure a taxi to the airport, and was generally so friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and the hotel managed to get us two connecting rooms, one with a larger bed that fit two adults with the five year olds in between. Access after the front desk closed was straightforward and easy with directions sent via email. We wished we could have stayed longer than one night!

Impersonal because we were in the wrong season?

The first impressions were positive, although one room still had to be embedded.
Mosquito repellent at the window, barrier-free shower, stylish furnishings, large rooms, electric shutters.
Parking possibility, incl. charging station for electric cars.
Proximity to the old town: easy to get to on foot.
Easy. Thanks to holidays (Easter) - otherwise construction site noise nearby.
Cons: Very impersonal. Guest info about QR code.
Since there is a door sign that does not "do not disturb" / "make room" as usual but "do not disturb" / "I do not want room made" (because there is a voucher for a drink for it) in such an ornate and therefore not well legible font, we were not made room. We shouldn't have turned on a door sign. The drink receipt was then only available in one room instead of both.
1 topper over both beds: every movement of the partner can be felt.
Staircase remained sticky for days, in shower there was a silverfish, drinking glasses in the room unappetizingly calcified.
Entering the breakfast room, there is a picture of Putin and Kim Jong-un; very questionable in today's political situation.
Breakfast buffet: For 3 days the same fruit selection (net melons, apples, grapes, oranges), no freshly squeezed juice, little bread variety and on the last morning (probably as a result of very few guests - see photo) at 8.30 am hardly any bread rolls, no croissants at all and only box breads - For a hefty 25 euros a cheek.
The restaurant was closed for vacation during this time anyway - maybe that's why he is. However, this one experience only triggers the fact that we experienced the absolute minimum of hospitality.

Great place to stay if you’re visiting Nördlingen! Right across the street from one of the gates into the city. Very walkable, lots of dining options close by. Hotel room was clean and comfortable.

Great hotel in Nördlingen!

We were already there for the fifth time and were very satisfied. The staff is very friendly and helpful and you get a voucher for a drink (per person and day) if you don't let the room be made (bath towels and toilet paper are still renewed or refilled). There are only two little things that bothered us a little: 1. The hotel does not have air conditioning (arguably the building regulations in green Germany) and 2. The picture of Putin and Kim Jong-un no longer hangs (probably left hanging by Annalena Baerbock).

Great place to stay in Nordlingen

Motorcycle solo trip, arrived after long day riding. Reception was friendly and helpful, room was great, honesty beer fridge in reception was a good idea and breakfast was a good way to start the day. Recommended for passing through or visiting Nordlingen.
