Fantastic Highly Recommended

We arrived at the hotel during a very deep snowfall, the proprietors son helped us in with our luggage, we where taken to our rooms and asked to come down to the restaurant/ bar area, and sat in front of a log fire, the owners couldn't do enough for us during our stay, the food was fantastic, and much more than we could eat,we where treated like members of the family, Looking out of the window we saw plenty of deer around the hotel, although it was snowing and very cold outside it was lovely and warm in all the rooms of the hotel, I would recommend this hotel for anyone, I will be going back when next in Germany.

Pleasant staff

We had little trouble finding the hotel but although the room was fine we were advised the restaurant wouldn't be open - the nearest alternatives being in Querfurt! Not a good start. Whilst we managed, my elderly father did struggle a bit with all the stairs.
On the plus side the staff were helpful and breakfast ample, the room's balcony was a bonus as was the dawn chorus!
I would stay again but I'd hope that the restaurant would actually be open and I'd avoid taking anyone with mobility issues.

excellent place for a stop-over or stay

We stopped at this hotel en route to the east of the Czech republic and found it to be nice, quiet, friendly well worth the (very moderate) price and very conveniently located for visits to famous cities such as Dresden, Leipzig and Bayreuth. It is close enough to the motorway running acros Germany and very lose to the one from Berlin to Munich. Check the price and you'll be surprised. The breakfast at virtually no cost was ample continental style.

einsam gelegen

Das Landhotel Quernetal ist ein Garni-Hotel mit 7 Zimmern. Die Zimmer sind schön groß und angenehm zu bewohnen.Die Hotelanlage suggeriert von außen und auf Fotos Größe und Betriebsamkeit, aber das täuscht leider. Restaurantbetrieb gibt es nicht (bis auf evtl. eine Gullaschsuppe), es ist absolut einsam und ruhig dort.
Um ein Restaurant zu finden muss man in den Nachbarort, nach Querfurt fahren.
Frühstück war ok, aber absolut nicht mehr.
Übernachtungspreis und Frühstückspreis m.E. zu hoch für das gebotene.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich war für eine Nacht wegen einer Geschäftsreise. Da ich sehr spät anreist, habe ich dort nur übernachtet und gefrühstückt. Das Zimmer war super groß, alle Fenster schon geöffnet, damit die Hitze raus kommt und die Einrichtung ansprechend. Das Bad war sauber und ebenfalls geräumig. In den zwar etwas schmalen Bett konnte ich sehr gut schlafen. Beim Frühstück war ich dann alleine, also wurde extra für mich gedeckt, Kaffee und Eier wären extra für mich frisch zubereitet worden. Alles in allem ein super gemütliches Hotel, in dem ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt habe. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ganz weit oben!
