Cozy room
It was a nice place, snowed a lot so we didn't get to explore the area to much but the room was warm and comfortable
Just an FYI, there was no TV , we were ok with it but travelers that need a TV may want to check if other rooms have them
Over all we enjoyed the stay and the nicely laid out breakfast in the morning

We were more than satisfied.
Our first experience with such accommodation. Price question 66 with breakfast, everything in the area was around 170 at the time of order. Cash payment. We were very unaccustomed, unusual and afraid. IT'S NOT LIKE THAT! Private cabin in the lowlands, in the courtyard of a stream, noisy, clean, alive - he runs to the nearest lake. The house is old, furniture and furnishings too. But all clean, licked. Good mattresses, blankets and pillows are what really matters. We had a shower and toilet in a separate room across the street, I go all night long - it's all calm, too.
The silence is PERFECT. None other than everyone's in fear the way we arrived. None of the neighbours were heard at all, either at night or in the morning - although everyone gathered early and was already at breakfast.
Breakfast is off. Extremely compact, with everything on one table. Super quality slice, most likely from farmers markets, because plastic packaging just doesn't happen. The same quality cheeses in a huge selection. Vegetables, salads, fruits, BERRIES!!!!! Tight, yeah, we all had breakfast at the same time.
Very friendly hosts, they live downstairs and their half is a bit of a mess - just close your eyes - none of your business, half the guests are more than fine.
Booking wants to prepay through the bank, I've been picking in good faith, but I've never been able to. Called the landlady, she confirmed that m pay at check-in.

Dissatisfied
Not a good memory. Room very dirty, bed broken, whole place stinks of cat urine, garbage storage outside the window. Possess unkindly . We are very disappointed.

Disappointing and Unprofessional Communication
Unfortunately, our experience with Haus Mühlgraben before even arriving was stressful and unwelcoming. While the property might be nice, the communication with the host was extremely problematic.
We were asked to transfer 50% of the booking cost via bank transfer without receiving any formal invoice—only a message with banking details, which understandably raised concerns about legitimacy. When I asked for a proper invoice before making the payment, the response was dismissive and rude. I was told, “You must accept our conditions, not I yours,” and was repeatedly threatened with cancellation if I didn’t transfer the amount within three days.
No understanding was shown when I explained my hesitation due to frequent scam messages on booking platforms. The host refused to issue an invoice in advance and instead insisted on a blind transfer—something I find unprofessional and against basic hospitality standards.
It’s disappointing, especially when so many other hosts go out of their way to make guests feel safe and welcome. I would recommend extreme caution when booking this property.

Truly Fantastic
We arrived in the dark in the middle of a torrential rainstorm and when we knocked on the door, Wolfgang the owner, didn’t bat an eyelid, he just fetched hangers and stuff for us to dry our motorbike gear. Showed us to our rooms (which were perfect) and put the kettle on. We then joined him in the dining room and had a very welcome drink of tea and then we had beer!
Breakfasts were the stuff of legends, meats, cheeses, antipasti, cereals, fruit juices, fruit, yoghurts, salads, hot fresh rolls, hard boiled eggs, tea, coffee....a veritable feast. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We stayed for 2 nights and on the morning following our first night he was already airing our bedding as we were leaving for the day. The views around the area are stunning, the village of Ramsau was stunning our rooms were perfect, the dining room was old fashioned but perfectly decorated like an old hunting lodge, the food was divine, but nothing compared to the hospitality shown to us by Wolfgang. A special guy who shared his home, told us stories of his past and made the greatest breakfast (fruhstucken ) of our entire trip. As a group we have all agreed that he made our trip very special. You meet people as you go through life who touch your soul.....he is one of those people.
