Wonderful

We spent a wonderful week in the Spechtshaardt. We had a suite with balcony and view of the valley, a nice large bathroom with window and walk-in shower. Attractively furnished and very well maintained and clean. Good beds!
The included breakfast was varied and varied, there was nothing missing. For dinner we worked through the menu and can recommend everything! From the soup to the salads, schnitzel and loin everything prepared very tasty. The current game week with the various delicacies complements the taste experience perfectly. We will definitely come back.....

Delicious meal, dogs welcome

Very good food, dogs welcome. We were kindly welcomed in the restaurant. Offered a nice wine. I will definitely come back here for dinner. No overnight stay in this beautiful hotel. Very quiet area with wandzl possibilities

Nicely located hotel in the middle mountains the Spessart.

Around 18:00 we are on our way home at our first stopover: Hotel Spechtshaardt. It's still very hot. Fortunately, our room is on the ground floor, which is quite cool. The room is spacious and has a large terrace.
Dinner we use anyway in the restaurant and not on the huge terrace. Inside it looks a little cooler.
We found Hotel Spechtshaardt a nice hotel last year and beautifully located in the heart of the Spessart: great hiking! But with this crippling heat, we're definitely not going for a walk. After breakfast we sit down on our terrace to find a next hotel. We are only 'disturbed' by the robot lawnmower that regularly comes along gently buzzing. Just before noon we drive to the nice picture Lohr am Main. We first have a coffee on the terrace of ROSE Osteria 47. Then we stroll through the rather cozy 'Altstadt' and have lunch at Gasthof Schönbrunnen: gutbürgerlich.
In the evening we dine on the terrace of our hotel, the temperature is a lot more pleasant than yesterday, there is even some rain!

Familiar, modern, delicious

The modern hotel combines very good food in a clean building in a quiet location. The hotel is run by a dedicated family who are always there to help. I always enjoy coming to the hotel or restaurant for business or pleasure.
