Beautiful break in the wine region

Since last year we had booked a stay for Easter in Volkach. Since on reconfirmation we could not be secured a room accessible by elevator, we decided because of the excellent reviews for the cloth house in the city center without parking on site but me very convenient private parking in the immediate vicinity.
The hotel is actually a complex of different half-timbered houses connected to each other. At the moment 11 rooms are accessible by elevator (500-600) and three on the ground floor but in a few days 6 rooms will be added in the same wing. That's why there was a bit of noise because of the renovations in our room but only from 07:00 in the morning and then you are awake anyway thanks to the local priest.
Our room of the KZplus category was very spacious, had a very comfortable bed, a sofa, side table and desk, a TV of decent size with many national and international channels that could be swiveled (living-sleeping area) and an in-house tray with a lot of functions and information.
It has four windows that look out to the main street, is very bright and an air conditioning system.
Room service (cleaning) as usual since Corona in Germany only on request, towels are replaced and trash cans emptied.
The only shortcoming: the much too soft pillows that could not be replaced despite the pillow menu. Just an extra one just as soft.
In terms of cuisine, the hotel offers an abundant breakfast buffet and small delicacies with wine. Volkach is a pure winemaking village and you can tell. But no problem finding good, Franconian restaurants with 2 to 5 minutes walk and for whom would even like a star restaurant.
The welcome with welcome champagne and the check out from the landlord himself was very warm, we even got the parking costs as a gift because we stayed here for a week.
We can only recommend the hotel.

That's where you want to stay in Volkach

The best location in the center of town, very nice rooms, a great breakfast buffet, and a very friendly and helpful staff.

Also our second stay again a direct hit

We had booked a double room Comfort Plus again this time. The small surcharge is worth his money. Cosy sitting area with sofa, very comfortable beds, large bathroom with walk in shower. Air conditioning absolutely silent. Our room was facing the street but was still quiet. Rooms easily accessible via a lift. There are free tea making and water bottling machines on the ground floor.
This time we stayed at the hotel in the evening and chose a selection of tapas and spreads. Varied composition (ham, roast, salami, cheese, olives, obatzer, cream cheese, etc.), very abundant and excellent in taste. Otherwise, there are various restaurants within walking distance around the hotel. Breakfast the next morning, cozy in the courtyard, small but fine, with everything you need.
For us, the warm atmosphere in the cloth house is outstanding, as if you have known each other forever, but without being intrusive. There is a glass of Prosecco as a welcome drink, after check-in you are escorted to the room. In the evening at dinner and also in the morning at breakfast only friendly, cheerful faces. And the charm of hotel manager Philip Aczél towards his guests cannot be beaten.

Very nice hotel in an extremely pleasant atmosphere

We stayed for a few days in a nice room with perfect views of the marketplace and felt very comfortable. In particular, the nice and accommodating nature of the hotelier Philip and the overall atmosphere in the house we really liked.
It was now the 3rd visit to the Cloth House and should not be the last. Greetings to Volkach...

Perfect

We stayed for 4 nights on site. Everything is right here! The rooms have parquet, ours was air conditioned, which was necessary given the heat. With the location to the courtyard also quiet, if you had closed the windows, you did not notice the breakfast there. The furnishings and equipment, such as a water dispenser, tea making facilities, throughout the house is stringent, thoughtful and customer-oriented. With its location on the market square, it is a great pleasure to have a wine there in the evening. This is how you leave positive holiday memories!
