Pěkný rodinný hotel.

Pěkný a útulný rodinný hotel. Snídaně formou bufetu byla dostatečná a spokojená v její rozmanitosti. Hotel je centrálně umístěný a poskytuje přístup k mnoha památkám Weimar. . . Romové byli čistí a personál velmi přátelský. . .

Very good hotel in the old town of Weimar

In the middle of the old town of Weimar in a quite quiet side street. Nice entrance area with adjoining restaurant and bar. Covered outdoor area.
Our room was not very large but perfectly adequate. Rather dignified furnishings. The whole place was very clean and the staff very friendly.
The hotel offers parking facilities (underground parking and outdoor parking). On request we were recommended to use the free parking at Herrmann- Brill-Platz. This is about 7 minutes walk from the hotel.
The breakfast buffet was very good and varied. Due to the nice weather we could always use the outdoor area.
The Anna Amalia is "only" a three-star hotel, but due to the good Service and the great location we would give the hotel the 4th place. Award star.

Nice hotel with parkable defects.

We stayed at Anna Amalia for the second time and knew the parking situation was bad. We booked 5 rooms seven months ago and asked for at least one parking space. It was denied, but we could ask again. Since a fellow passenger is also severely disabled, we had the hope that at least he could park his car in the hotel's own parking garage. We got the information, 7 months before is not enough, some guests would reserve a parking space two years before. The room was a bit dusty and a spider abseiled down from the ceiling. Shreds of fabric hung from the armchairs. The doors of the shower were difficult to open. Breakfast was adequate and delicious. The location to the city center is optimal.

Amazing Value in Weimar

I was able to stay here for about $100, breakfast included. The room was very clean, although perhaps somewhat dated in style. There is still a little bit of the East German styling leftover here. But I was very pleased with the room and even more pleased with the breakfast. The food was fresh and a wide variety of traditional German breakfast foods was offered. The staff at the front desk and the dining room were kind and attentive. Overall, it was a great stay and an even better value!

Nice city hotel, always happy to come back.

The location of the hotel is excellent. All of the sights are within walking distance. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel and the apartment were clean. The bathroom was a sufficient size, but we were missing towel hooks. The mattresses were comfortable, but the pillows were not. The breakfast was plentiful and good.
