Nice hotel with a few weaknesses
The hotel is located on the main road through town, which is busy during the day. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out are smooth and quick. The comfort double room is spacious and has a desk and a seating area. The bed is okay; the pillow was much too high for me, but it was exchanged without any issues. Although the bathroom is spacious, there is hardly any storage space for two people. Only a small shelf above the sink and the sink itself. There are proper clothes hangers that you can also hang outside the closet, but unfortunately, there is no type of coat rack on the wall. There is no bottle of water as a welcome gift. There is also no power outlet at the desk, only one next to each of the beds. The room is not quiet, as often described. However, I am also a light sleeper. When it is hot and you open the window at night, you can hear the street very clearly. Traffic calms down around midnight, but it starts up again around 5 a.m. Upon inquiry, only the most expensive comfort rooms with a balcony face the back, but I could not test them. Wi-Fi works well. Everything is very clean. The breakfast is very good, rich, and varied. Besides scrambled eggs, there are Vienna sausages, warm kabanos, meatballs, sometimes warm smoked pork chop, cold cuts, vegetables, oatmeal, pre-cut fruit, several types of bread and rolls, juices, etc. It is also replenished quickly. Dinner is also quite good. Everything seems to be sourced regionally. Unfortunately, the side dish is usually steakhouse fries and there are hardly any regional dishes. It also seems that people in the area are not familiar with side salads; when I asked for one, there was only a small salad garnish on the plate. The parking lot costs 2 euros per day, which is okay; there are enough parking spaces, provided individual guests do not park so crookedly that they take up 2 spots. I find it a bit petty that you have to pay 1 euro per day to park a bicycle. You pay over 500 euros plus dinner every evening for almost 200 euros and then have to pay an additional 2 euros for parking twice. In summary, I find the price for an unrenovated, non-air-conditioned room a bit overpriced. Overall, however, I would like to emphasize once again the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone, including the boss.

Hotels in Saxony
A quiet hotel for trips in the Saxony region. With the guest card free public transport bus stop next to hotel. Friendly and nice staff both restaurant and front office. A nice room with excellent breakfast buffet and dinner not 1x the same. Chapo for kitchen and service. Friendly housekeeping.

Inadequate hotel with unfortunately unfriendly staff
Unfortunately very inadequate room.
Under a glass of water, a dead fly!
Very unfriendly staff, no more drinks from 11 pm.
Bad location about 3 km outside Pirna.
The breakfast is mediocre, the bathroom still goes but meets a 1980 standard.

Was ok, but I would not recommend.
Geographically well located hotel with daily form dependent friendly staff. In the evening, the parking lot is crowded by restaurant guests, so that as a hotel guest, one can access the poorly lit and unkempt 2nd floor. Parking space has to avoid. Charging facility for an electric car available, but this is usually blocked by a hotel vehicle at reasonable charging times.
From 6:30 a.m. a week you can no longer sleep with the window open due to rush hour traffic.
The room facilities are old (mold in the shower, shower cubicle cannot be completely closed, beds creak) and partly unthought out (soap dispenser attached too close to the sink or shelf in the shower).

Something's missing...
Because of the Striezelmarkt, the rooms were priceless. Therefore, I looked for an affordable room in the area, which also had a sauna and a swimming pool. But it has to be said: it is not in the core city of Pirna itself, but outside. Parking was reserved on the homepage when booking the room, but I felt there was no control whether or not you had reserved and therefore I was not sure if I should give up the parking to drive into town. The reception was very nicely decorated: a beautiful Christmas pyramid from the Ore Mountains gave the thing a nice atmosphere. The hotel consists of two wings that are not connected above. Therefore elevator is there: but you had to walk a few steps to reach the elevator. I also tried the stairs later. But without a GPS tracker, I wouldn't have found my way back to reception. Very nice: no central heating: I was master of my own heating and needed it chubby warm. Unfortunately, then the possibilities at the bed to charge his devices were missing. I got a double room instead of an economy single room. In the bathroom: unfortunately the shower, which you could not really close and therefore there was a small flood disaster in the bathroom. What I personally didn't like: neutral soap dispensers, as you'd rather find them in the canteen or in the office washrooms. You didn't know what was in it and they're not pretty in terms of style. One reason for choosing the restaurant was the offer: I had discovered pork steak "au four". My personal dish in the Mitropa's dining cars and rest stops. The restaurant is very cozy. Very attentive staff. When I come in, however, I see the plates full of goose specialties. Should I or should I not??? I can also get goose at home, but seasoning meat isn't. Because it's cold outside anyway, I order a goosepower broth. It was so hot because of the grease on the surface and did not cool down even after 10 minutes. Then came my pork steak "au four." The steak itself was as well fried as it was at Mitropa time. Unfortunately, without blobs of Hollandaise sauce, and without cheese baked over. The seasoning was unfortunately made of poultry. I didn’t even know that, but I did some research: there is also the poultry variant. Next time, I'll probably have to go to the roots of the dish in the Harz Mountains. Very modernized then: Steakhouse fries and a salad set instead of canned peas. It was too wet and too cold outside, so I went to the sauna and swimming pool for another lap. You have to walk through the swimming pool to get to the locker room. It was barely lit, so you actually felt like you were in one of the clubs in the Bahnhofsviertel in Frankfurt, where it was deliberately so dark. Only the pool itself was lit. But at least the steps could have been illuminated. Then came the changing area: unfortunately no locks for the lockers there. Unfortunately, they do not have "neutral" key cards but the classic keys with a pendant, with room number. Who is actually liable: so better to travel with a lock in the future. Afterwards I remembered that I always have a TSA lock in my briefcase. You have to bring the towels yourself from the room. Slippers and bathrobe cost extra. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to use the pool without textiles. That would have been nice again. The sauna was fine. You should not expect it to be a sauna landscape, though. For example, I missed the possibility of doing change baths with my feet. Breakfast was warmly welcomed. This is where you felt comfortable. The offer at breakfast: also exotic fruits such as Pittahaya or Kaki. Also very delicious bread and more than one type of sausage. But there was only coffee from the pot. I got my warm lactose-free milk, but whether I could have expected espresso for the reasonable price: I don't see others getting it.
