Almost a nice experience

The stay and service is nice is parts and archaic in others.
For example a room of two people regardless of the booking reflecting the room is for two they only provided one towel. I'm not sure if this is a Nigeria/Lagos thing or not, but the same for breakfast.
A room booked for 2 only gets one complimentary al a carte breakfast. I called the restaurant for breakfast as a room service delivery to my room they said breakfast is free but there is a room service charge. So I called back and said I'd head down and I'd want to change my order which they played on the phone. Mind you I called back within 30 seconds. When I came down within 2 mins of my second call, they argued I couldn't change my order, then argued that the items I wanted to change my order for weren't available.
The rooms were nice save the shower head being too low and rusted in their normal rooms, but kind you in 2m tall. And the toilet bowl was quite clean but discolored in the inside seemingly due to age. Other than these things the room and general atmosphere was quite nice, and the staff are fun and quirky when conversing so that was endearing for me. And the place is relatively quiet all things being equal. But he warned, get a local sim for Wi-Fi and general network, because the hotels Wi-Fi is spotty and slow at best.
As for value, the cost of the room when I booked was quite worth it for me, but when I went back to extend my stay the price had doubled. Honestly if I had the funds I may have still payed given the location and proximity to fun activities, Spar and other grocers, as well as great restaurants that will run your pockets.

This is a nice property, clean room and very helpful staff. They met all of my need.

After I paid for this reservation, they charged my husband $15,000 naira because they said the money was too cheap for the room. When my husband went to the room, the air conditioner didn't work. The next room they gave him, the TV didn't work. The pool is filthy dirty that the staff told my husband he can't use the pool. My husband had to stay here for 3 days. Sorry to say neither one of us will ever return.

When I arrived they let me know my room was already occupied which was extremely inconvenient as I had booked a month prior.
This shows extremely poor management but other daily staff were nice and supportive. Please give them a call before showing up.
