Fine.

Great hotel on the woods. Rooms soberly furnished. Price-wise fine. Breakfast was complete and well cared for. Nice service and friendly.

Top spot for staying in the region if you go outside a lot

Great hotel, general areas are somewhat dated. But room and bathroom seems recently renovated, and everything is fresh and clean. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.

Price performance ratio is good, no luxury but sufficient comfort.

We were there for one night. Arriving at about 19.30 hrs, the outside of the building isn't very attractive, the window- and door frames need fresh paint, but there is a large parking place from where a walking path leads directly into the forest. We went to the lobby for check in. No body was there, but after ringing the bell a friendly young lady arrived and handed the key over too us. The twin bed room was spacious and contained 3 little tables and two good chairs. There is a cabinet to hang clothes. The flat screen tv was small but for us sufficient. Wifi worked well. The bath room had a toilet, a small shower cabin that missed a place to put soap or shampoo etc. Soap and shampoo we found in a drawer under the sink. The towels were large enough and good of quality. We didn't see a ventilation system in the room, for fresh air we opened the window. The mattresses were rather soft, but that is a personal preference. The room and bath room were clean. The next morning breakfast was of an average quality with enough variety, but good for the total price range. All in all we had a good night and a pleasant breakfast, in balance with the price level. In our opinion, the hotel lacks some coziness and warmth in its decor. The staff is not very talkative but not unfriendly, and efficient. We had a good overnight stay and a pleasant breakfast. There is a night porter during the night, convenient and safe.

Excellent and rustic hotel

(January 23, 2026) Excellent quiet hotel. Staff very friendly to the guests at the reception. Had not booked online, but that was g1 problem, she said. Reserved was a single room (#27 ) for 1 night. Very neat and clean. Fine shower facility available.
Had a small dinner, both starters! At both dishes, the employee came to ask if everything was satisfactory. Well done!
Breakfast was fine the next morning. Scrambled eggs, bacon, various kinds of bread. Comprehensive coffee machine!
Staff Hotel: is it worth an option to designate 1 or 2 parking spaces as disabled parking spaces at the entrance? (PS; did I have a hard time finding a place very late the night before, or did I overlook it?)

Why such negative reviews?

Do not understand why so many people write so negatively about this hotel. Hotel is in a beautiful place. No disturbance from traffic noises etc. Neat, clean great room. Bed somewhat low (for older people like us). Restaurant serves good and tasty food at a neat price. Very friendly and helpful staff.
