Nice hotel where you sleep fine in a quiet village

Great hotel

The hotel is between average and very good, it was just fine. I booked this hotel because I was on a motorcycle tour through the north of the Netherlands. The room in the hotel was fine, unfortunately no air conditioning, but a small fan. The dinner was very good and tasty, the breakfast was varied and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel for great value

Great hotel for a great price.
Breakfast was very good we found , really enough choice for everyone something.
The bathroom is a bit dated, and I would occasionally treat the bathrooms with a mold cleaner or chlorine , grout and sealant edges seem very dirty . We therefore always shower with slippers on in the shower in hotels. Furthermore, great base to do your thing.

The rooms are in urgent need of renovation

Sat 27 to Mon 29 Dec 2025: The hotel room was very old bulbous especially the bathroom. The toilet bowl was still from the last century with limescale and you could not sit on it normally and had to take a sideways seat. You expect something like this from a hotel in Verweggistan but not in Hoevelaken NL. The buck beers were poorly draughted in a 25 cl glass and then far below the mark there was less than 20 cl in it and you had to pay 5.95 for that, even when I had said something about it after the 1st time, the beers were all poorly draughted afterwards. Converted to a 33 cl glass, you pay 10,00 euros per glass. The staff was friendly though.
