Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings.
The suite was spacious and everything was very clean. You could sit inside in the living room or outside behind the hotel overlooking the garden. There is also a sunny terrace at the front where you can sit under the umbrella if you want.
A true family business, where Welcoming and friendliness are high. Bicycle could be safely stored in their shed. The breakfast was good and for a packed lunch you could prepare your own sandwiches, yogurt with you, delicious piece of pie and a bottle of water. The area is beautiful for walking or cycling. All in all highly recommended to stay and enjoy the stay and surroundings.

Nice hotel, but was a bit disappointing.
On arrival we were shown around very briefly by the Owner. It seemed like he was stressed and in a lot of hurry, so we didn't really feel welcome.
It is a beautiful (timber-framed) hotel, tastefully decorated with nice seating areas. Nice backyard with a chicken run. In the courtyard a cozy terrace. However, a lot of inconvenience from the traffic noise on the busy road in front of the hotel.
The room: no air conditioning, fan and fridge. No coffee or tea facilities (available on terrace for € 3.20) and no balcony. The room was quite dark and very warm (27 degrees). Fortunately, we had brought our own fan just in case. In the room a small TV and (unsecured) wifi that was too weak and therefore unusable. Great beds and great bathroom with a noisy, humming exhaust.
Breakfast was good. Fresh rolls and lots of choice in toppings, not vegan (except sweet toppings) on days 1 and 3 (fairly) fresh orange juice. On day 2 and day 4, a watery orange juice. 2 friendly children helped in the service (coffee, tea and fried egg). One child suffered from a loud barking cough. Hopefully he'll be well soon and not contagious.
Beautiful hilly surroundings, close to Maastricht and Aachen. A great base for various trips.
Conclusion: nice hotel, but given the room rate (€ 152.50 excl. tourist tax) and the limited facilities it is too expensive. If you don't like a warm hotel room, don't go there in the summer. The Owner (the owner not spoken to) is friendly but distant, which made us feel not really welcome.

wonderful stay
The suites are beautiful large rooms with wonderful Hastens beds.
The bathrooms are beautiful and very spacious.
There is plenty of space in the family living rooms to sit and relax. And immediately drink delicious tea and coffee or something else. We missed the coffee maker in the room.
The breakfast is very extensive and the time to enjoy a delicious breakfast is long enough. Boiled eggs are ready and eggs can be fried upon request.
The small menu for something to eat in the evening has enough choices.
This hotel is definitely highly recommended, and is a very nice base for both cycling and walking.
We will definitely come back again.
And especially a compliment to Saskia, Kevin and especially the children.
Thanks to them we had a great stay.
