Fletcher Mill unaccommodating and poor quality
Now that our wedding is over, I still want to express my displeasure with our stay from 13 to 14 May (booking reference: FH128-RSV-00012535).
Unfortunately, our stay did not meet the expectations we could have given the price and appearance of your hotel in several respects.
1. Communication and service
The communication before and during the stay we experienced as little customer-oriented. Policies were strictly adhered to, without any kind of input or flexibility.
For example, we asked if it was possible to make the rooms available at 12:00 in connection with our wedding. This was immediately rejected, after which it was immediately indicated that check-in from 13:00 was possible at an additional cost of €25,- per room.
The reason given was that the rooms still needed to be cleaned. It was striking that on 13 May there were still more than enough rooms available via your website, which gave us the impression that more might have been possible.
2. Condition and hygiene of the rooms
The condition of our room was downright disappointing and did not give the impression that it had recently been thoroughly cleaned, checked or maintained.
Among other things, we found:
- a clear dust layer on windowsills and furniture;
- beads of a broken chain on the bathroom floor;
- loose screws on the ground in both the bathroom and the bedroom.
These are things that should have been easily noticed during the cleaning check.
3. Breakfast and appearance staff
Breakfast was also disappointing. The cheese was dried out around the edges, which did not give the impression of fresh produce. In addition, the range of sandwich fillings was limited and unflavorable.
Furthermore, the staff made a tired and disinterested impression during breakfast, which did not benefit the overall experience.
Given the price we paid for the rooms, we expected a significantly higher standard of service, hygiene and hospitality.
We regret that it was on a special occasion like our wedding that this experience was so disappointing.

Lovely relaxing.
Breakfast was disappointing. At 9:15 want breakfast and there was barely anything left. Nothing was refilled, tables were not cleared. Sauna was delicious.

Fine room, environment a little less.
The bed was only made with a sheet over the mattress (no molton), which we experience as less hygienic.
In addition, the hotel room is on a busy road, which gives some noise in the night.
