Wonderful temporary home

As we were renovating our apartment, we needed a place where we could stay for some five weeks. Luckily, we chanced upon this holiday park. Located right opposite the nature reserve it is quite quite, allowing one to be woken up by the birds; the air is wonderfully clean and invigorating. The bungalow might resemble a Hobbit-dwelling, but it had all mod cons, in splendid working order. After a while, it truly felt like home, especially as the renovation works got to the crunch; we could just move to our bungalow and relax a little, away from it all. Unfortunately, the weather was not forthcoming in March, with low temperatures, strong winds and torrential rainfall.
But we had the best of times. This is one of the nicest holiday parks I've stayed in.

Weekend getaway

The location of the park is perfect. You walk right into the beautiful surroundings. For walkers and cyclists or nature lovers a true paradise. The park is small in design and therefore sometimes difficult to maneuver with certainly a larger car. Nevertheless, we found the houses inside somewhat disappointing. It is brought as luxury and comfort, but it is pretty basic and absolutely no different from regular Vacation rentals. Certainly the bathroom is tiny with a small sink. The shower room cannot be closed, so the floor in front of the sink becomes soaking wet and you can no longer stand there if you want dry feet. There is a separate bath with shower, but you can't attach that shower head anywhere so you would have to shower sitting in the bath. This is not closed either, by the way. Especially for the money you pay a somewhat disappointing accommodation, but a beautiful location.

Beste Marcel, dank je wel voor het delen van je ervaring. We zijn blij dat de ligging en de omgeving van het park je bevallen zijn, maar het spijt ons te horen dat de accommodatie niet voldeed aan je verwachtingen. We nemen je opmerkingen over de badkamer en de faciliteiten serieus en zullen ze doorgeven aan het team om te kijken naar mogelijke verbeteringen. Peaceful "wood houses" in charmy village of Schoorl

peacefull small vacationpark in Schoorl. Opposite of Nature reserve with dunes, wood and beaches, good for hiking or cycling. The wood houses are differently styled, modern and/or traditional. Park is close to village-centre - 5 minute walk - for shopping, all you need. Several cafés and restaurants in this village. Beach is a 20-minute bike ride. Bikes for rent at Park or in village. Good surrounding voor nature-lovers and young kids.

Comfortable accomodation

The holiday houses at Scorleduyn are very comfortable and modern. About 40 houses are located at this park, with different shapes and sizes. The park is located about 5km from the beach and opposite a forest/dunes nature reserve.

Mooi gelegen in de duinen

Vanaf dit park loop je zo de duinen in. Een prima uitvalsbasis dus voor wandelingen of fietstochten door de duinen.
Het park is klein en erg rustig (veel senioren). In de buurt zitten wat winkels en restaurants, maar 's avonds is het er vrij stil. Voor gezelligheid kun je dan beter naar Bergen of een andere plaats rijden.
De huisjes zien er fraai uit, maar zijn wel erg basic ingericht. Ik had de handdoekenpakketten besteld, maar die vond ik er gewoon armoedig uitzien (dun). Ook waren er een paar dingen kapot in het huisje. Desondanks: prima huisje, zeker als het mooi weer is.
