Culinary pampering and a perfect stay

We had a really great experience at Hotel & Restaurant Merlet. The room was beautiful and fully equipped. Dinner in the star restaurant was also an experience in itself. The menu was very good and the matching wines perfectly matched the dishes. In addition, the incredibly friendly staff finished it off, everything was right and we felt really pampered. We will definitely be back here again!

Cooking is going on here!

What a perfect balance in the dishes. Here, the best of the ingredients is extracted. All tastes and smells come to the surface. Pleasant atmosphere and fine wines

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in extremely friendly staff very professional and kind.
The bed and the room was so beautiful you really felt like you was in paradise.
Also the restaurant was magnificent very tasty food and the dessert was out of this world.
I would recommend anyone going to this hotel 5 out of 5 stars top hotel!

Delicious package, dinner and overnight stay, in Merlet

A package (overnight stay and dinner) in Merlet is a party! Because it was my friend's birthday I surprised her with an evening and then night Merlet. The room was regal (not for nothing the 'royal suite') and the dinner was magnificent. 3 Amusements were put on the table at the same time; tasty works of art. Then add North Sea lobster, eel with butter and eek (the chef is a Volendammer), mallard duck and chocolate mousse with porcini ice cream. Everything stunningly beautiful and tasty. Small minus regarding the latter: I like 'high taste (salt)' but this chef is a bit worse, it was good salt. And the excellent sommelier/Customer suggested a glass of champagne as an appetizer, which I have no objection to, and secondly something I could not understand; I would then let the guest have a moment to look at the appetizers menu. It may be looking for something else or a different price range . Above all, it was a wonderful evening.

Great stay with excellent food

We spent a nice short break in Schoorl and stayed at the Hotel Merlet and had great breakfast. In the evening we had dinner at the hotel's Grand Café Bourgogne and enjoyed a fantastic 4-course meal for small money.
