Close to Centraal station and an easy walk with ( wheeled) suitcase, also an easy walk to the Hoog Catharines shopping centre and on into the old town quarter, Dom Tower etc.
Very comfortable bed, spacious and clean room and bathroom, pleasant, helpful staff. I didn’t dine at the hotel, breakfast or other meals due to other arrangements so can’t comment on the food.

Absolutely not a 4-star hotel

Honestly overrated, I would say more of a 3-star... very basic and dated rooms, furthermore with carpet on the floor, large bathroom but the cleanliness really leaves something to be desired, dirty toilet bowl... furthermore, there are no personal hygiene gadgets.
Fortunately, we were just passing through for 1 night.

Park PLaza Utrecht

Very nice hotel - clean and comfortable - with Air Conditioning!!
The breakfast was excellent, and the proximity to the old town and rail station were close walking distance.

5 stars!

I booked into the Park Plaza for one night on August 19th last, not knowing at the time that my company had booked me in elsewhere that night. The Park Plaza was well entitled to charge me the full amount for cancelling, but after I contacted them requesting that they didn't (outlining what my company had done) no money was taken out of my card. Truly decent of the hotel team!
Even though I didn't stay at the hotel, I'm giving 5 stars for this!

Rooms, staff and location for exploring Utrecht and nearby cities is perfect. Easy parking, and close to the train station.
Only downside is the outside of the hotel. Just a few tables and chairs, and the close neighbourhood is not very pleasant - so you don’t want to sit outside.
Otherwise a 10/10.
