8 very satisfied lodges

with my partner, 3 sisters and 3 brothers-in-law we stayed 3 days in Huize Bergen. On their behalf, I can note here that we are all very satisfied across the board.
We had a half board package and stayed at the Botanica.
Are very satisfied with the location, the room, the breakfast and the 3-course dinner and the voucher for a drink with cakes.
What struck us in particular was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They really all went out of their way to please all 8 of us (an example: moved our set table to the garden because we chose not to sit under the tent with the heat).
My son wants to stay with his girlfriend in a castle. I advised him to go to Huize Bergen...

Poor

Kept waiting at reception for nearly 10 minutes while several staff walked past and ignored us, room smelled of damp and a questionable stain on the rug room 310. The AC worked fine in fact too well the indicator light on the unit is so bright i found it hard to sleep and we couldn’t switch it off - no need to put the light on if you have to get up in the night though! Breakfast room to much like a scum to deal with the number of guests. We read some not too good reviews about the restaurant so gave it a miss as well and found a brilliant family owned place 10 minutes walk away. The setting is nice but other than that we won’t be staying again.

A wonderful stay in Vught

For a working visit we stayed a few days in Landgoed Huize de Bergen in Vught. The Estate is beautifully situated in a beautifully landscaped park and consists of a main building and some outbuildings. The location is fine, close to roads and station. The Estate is beneficial. In the morning you can hear the birds chirping when you wake up. The rooms are fine, without lavish luxury. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Nice stay on a beautiful, green and quiet estate

As part of a distance walking tour we had booked again in Landgoed Huize Bergen. In the middle of the motorways there is complete tranquility on this beautiful estate.
There is a private car park. Check-in at the reception in the listed villa where you also have breakfast and dinner. The reception is staffed by friendly staff.
Then walk (about 150 meters) to guesthouse Botanica where we had again booked a Deluxe room. In the entrance are umbrellas ready in case it rains and you have to go to the main building. Also fresh flowers.
The modern room was well clean and fully equipped. Mattresses were pleasant for these seniors (quite soft), wifi worked well, tea and coffee making facility and absolute silence overlooking the greenery.
This time we chose the surprise dinner. If you have walked a portion of fries or salad would have been welcome. Good lesson for next time.
Breakfast is very good.
Staff are friendly and attentive.
