Cheap, clean and like sleeping on a cloud!

Good location (50 minutes from Bergen and 1,5 hours from Odda/Trolltunga), very neat and clean bedroom; felt like sleeping on a cloud, clean big kitchen with lots of utilities (refrigerator, freezer, oven, 2x dishwashers, toasters and more). The area also has lots of good hiking possibilities, grocery shop 8 minutes and 15 minutes drive away.
Very kind and welcoming owner and personnel! Good PRICE for the money, strongly recommended.

58kms from Bergen city center

One of the affordable lodge around Bergen.
We were looking for a hotel and this was recommended by booking.com. 32 kms from Bergen based on booking.com but when we used google map, the location is 58kms. Almost double. I do not know whose fault is this but definitely mislead us. If we knew that it is this far, we will find another hotel.
It is clean and new. Very isolated which is good for those looking for serenity.
If I have something bad to say, self service hotel is not my thing. I find it so inconvenient. Especially for travelers like us who stay for a night and in rush. We do not want to call the owner when we find something not right. Like entering the hotel was a difficulty too, when the PIN provided didnt work right away. We stayed outside the hotel for more than 15mins because we couldnt find the entrance as it is not really easily noticeable.
Also, We booked for 2 adults and only one set of towels in the bathroom.

Nice, silent and toilet and shower outside the room

The lodge is not a Hotel. More a hostel for adults. No breakfast, no shower and toilet en suite. But the rooms are beautiful and have a sink. Very comfortable bed, flat screen tv and free apple tv. Enjoyed the stay, but personally i prefer more privacy.

What a nice place to stay at

I spent the night at Kvamseter Lodge yesterday and I just had to write how nice it was there! Robert was so nice and wonderful! The place itself is magical and the fact that I could bring my dog just makes it even better. I would recommend anyone to visit!! Thank you again Robert for your hospitality.

Nice place to stay both during winter and summer

You can stay here short term or long term. They have family rooms, suites and apartments. All rooms have small coffemaker and a small fridge. It is a bit hard to find if you don't use GPS, but once we had booked, we got an email with directions.
It is a good place to stop on your way to Bergen or Hardanger.
We stayed in a lovely junior suite, with a very nice bedroom with a soft and nice bed, a good sized bedroom with shower, and a small kitchen/living room. The sofa could be made into a bed as well. They have parkingspace.
It is situated right in the terrein for skiing and hiking, and is very peaceful and nice.
The prices are affaordable and everything is clean.
