The cabins are well kept, clean and tidy with care. Highly recommend upgrading your reservation to the larger cabins with bathroom and service kitchen complete with oven, cook top stove and healthy size refrigerator. The extra cost is worth every kroner. Thanks to the camp host, he was as welcoming as could be. Will happily stay here again!

Abandoned campsite???

If economy permits, choose a larger cottage with proper kitchen and toilet. The common areas are not funny, worn, old and unfresh. For some reason better for men than women (warm & cleaner). The campsite is completely dead, nothing happens and feels abandoned.

We booked a 1150 NOK-house (with facilities) with room for 6. Based on the photo we expected a larger house where there were 6 beds.
This was not what we got:
-The photo of house for 6, is actually two appartments, so it was way smallar than expected. In fact it was only two beds.
-Because it was a Duplex and not a house, we could also hear the neighboor appartment.
-We had to pay an additional 280 NOK for bed-sheets, which it was not informed of at hotels.com
-There were an expectation that we were to clean the house upon departure, which it was not informed of at hotels.com
-The TV with cable didnt work
The house was clean and OK, we just felt misled by the infomation provided and that
1430 NOK was a too pricy for what we actually got.

Absolutely not recommended

Terribly bad is still an understatement. Despite having paid in advance, the reception was unstaffed for 4 days according to the notice. Not a big deal, if at least a brief instruction had been posted. The women's restroom and shower were completely locked. The men's restroom was at least open, but so run-down that one wouldn't even want to use it. (2 narrow, dark toilet stalls, 2 sinks with no privacy, 2 shower stalls, one of which had a broken floor and was filled with machines) In continuous rain, the restrooms are surrounded by a lake, making it impossible to reach this washhouse without getting wet. In front of it, there is a platform with a narrow high step in front. For mobility-impaired individuals like me, without the ability to hold on to something, it is an unsafe situation. The indicated parking spaces on a meadow were also muddy and not very pleasant. The facility overall appears very run-down and unkempt. This is of course perceived even more strongly in bad weather, as everything already looks gray. We disregarded our money and left, seeking and finding a more well-kept place. We can only advise against this place.
