Natural environment
In the middle of nature. Comfortable, clean and new cabins. The kitchen with the necessary utensils and very clean. Comfortable beds, bedding has to be paid separately if you need it. It does not include breakfast. Good shower with correct water pressure.

Beautiful place outside, but unclean inside and terrible customer service.
This happened Sunday on June 29th 2025.
TLDR; The area is lovely but the customer service was terrible: our cabin was unclean and the employees decided they’d rather argue with us about it instead of trying to find solutions. Pictures for proof have been provided.
Beautiful outside, but terrible customer service. Our cabin (nr 7 if I remember correctly) wasn’t properly cleaned from the previous guests, with boogers hidden under the covers of one bed and a Q-tip on the floor. Someone was sent to assist us with the issues and he arrived with a combative attitude, apparently upset because we made a complaint after opening hours. He made a dismissive comment about the boogers (“Was that all?” in a very condescending tone) claiming they were shells from nuts (which still means they didn’t clean properly nor do their due diligence regardless), brushed them off to the floor and only changed the underbedding, not the duvet that was covering the “shells” up. Neither did he clean the floor after brushing off the bed. Notably, before deciding it was a shell he actually said “Ew” out loud upon first seeing it.
Because of his attitude, the two young women alone in the cabin at the time didn’t feel comfortable speaking up again. Around 30min later a parent called him back, and he arrived with a female worker and they proceeded to criticise us for not being satisfied with their half-assed help. Apparently in the three years he’s worked here no one has caused issues the way we have, and the woman was under the strange impression that we discovered these problems hours ago and chose to wait this long to complain because funsies I guess?
Their defence for the uncleanliness was “human error” but apparently that same excuse was not valid for us not having discovered the uncleanliness immediately upon arrival. Why would we have discovered it before we started getting ready for bed?
Upon asking for a new cabin for the night they claimed all other cabins were occupied. This despite the very clear sign at the entrance stating otherwise.
All in all they were incredibly rude and unhelpful, did not take us seriously at all, and tried to turn every issue back on us. The man touched one little spot on the floor with his hand and said “See, my hand is clean” and then woman said our continued unwillingness to sleep in the room was “all in our heads”.
After 20min of them arguing with us and refusing to provide solutions (all while complaining about wanting to go to bed), I finally got enough and asked them to leave. Specifically I said “You have been incredibly unhelpful and rude and clearly have no intention of helping us so please just leave now,” as I opened the door for them. I did not raise my voice nor did I use any rude language, however the next day they saw it fit to complain to us and their boss about me “aggressively asking them to ‘Get out’”. Me, a woman in her 20s who had no intention of yelling at or otherwise provoke a grown man who’s a stranger to me.
After they left we also discovered various states of uncleanliness hidden around the cabin, such as dirt and debris along the walls and corners, multiple spiderwebs, a random used bandaid on the toilet floor, and dirty kitchen utensils. However by that point we knew they weren’t going to address any of these issues so we didn’t bother.

Affordable and peaceful accommodation with clear instructions
Good communication and smooth check-in in overall. There is convenient private parking right next to the cottage that you have booked, which is great. Surrounding mountains are totally mesmerizing and the whole area is very peaceful.
Interior of the accommodation is simple, but you get all that you need, especially at the kitchenette.
There could be a bit more space for cosmetics in the bathroom, though, as I was putting most of my cosmetics on the floor.

Really good, except one small matter...
We had a 2 bedroom cottage. Really a nice one with 2 o rooms, full kitchen and living room with dining table/chairs. Everything needed for cooking. Linen ordered and delivered. Cleaning afterwards needs to pay extra which is fair enough. Really, Wifi fine and entire cabin very clean.
So, why only 4 stars? The bathroom; tiny with nowhere to hand towels and place things. Pity that such a small thing shall reduce the rating for an otherwise great stay.

Delicious
During a tour in Norway past all the small hiker's huts, we booked luxury accommodation once. There wasn't really anything available anymore, so we decided we would stay here too.
What a beautiful place. We had a beautiful house with deck and fire pit. Inside there was a large living room with fully equipped kitchen and dining room. There were 2 bedrooms with two lovely double beds. There was a very spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. The house had a roof with those cool green plants and mosses. Something you often see in Norway, but still very cool to sleep in.
There is also a communal wood shed where you can split wood for your fire pit. All cottages have a fire pit. Really cool.
The campsite is very conveniently located at the beginning of route 63 near the winding route with waterfalls. So you can take a look there early before the crowds.
All in all. Yes, it was an expensive accommodation €509 for two nights. The smaller houses will probably be slightly cheaper, but were no longer available. Was it worth it? For us, yes. After Oslo, it was the only more luxurious accommodation with real beds and a private shower, kitchen and toilet.
