Great stay thanks Tudor
I stayed one night as a solo female up for a heart procedure. I was worried after reading all the negative reviews. Is it dated and basic Yes, but it had everything I needed. The lovely lady at reception upgraded me to a two bedroom unit upstairs and booked a reliable taxi for me early the next morning. It was clean and tidy, there were three working air cons in the room so I wasn't cold. It was very quiet and I got a good night's sleep before surgery. I meet some lovely Asian folks staying there and at no time did I feel unsafe. Water pressure was great and hot, I got milk. I must be one of the lucky ones that had a great experience.

Run Down. Grubby exterior and would never go here again.
We were booking into this motel as the preferred option for an appointment at the Waikato hospital as we live a fair way away from Hamilton. I was very dubious given the reviews on Booking.com but decided I would check it out for myself. My husband and I stayed on the 29/6. First appearance was driving down the driveway to the motel which the driveway took you to the back of the units where the office was. There was a child size mattress on the driveway and too the right longish grass and a pool covered with a tarp and fenced off. The water looked green. I had difficulty finding the office and beside it was a broken washing machine and a lot of other used and broken stuff. When the receptionist finally came ( she was out helping someone else and I called her 4 times by ringing the bell. She said I could choose from 2 rooms. One downstairs and the other upstairs. When I asked what the difference was she said upstairs would be quieter. We opened the door and the unit looked a bit grubby to me but not really bad. The bed was a double and we rolled towards to middle so not the easiest to sleep in The shower glass was covered in soap scum. We opened the kitchen window and outside of it were lots of dust and cobwebs. I’m guessing not much gets done on the exterior as it was all very grubby looking and could do with a good steam cleaning.
Our unit had no milk and the fridge froze the stuff I put in there even though it was only turned to 2.
I have to go back over there next week and I have chosen to pay for my own motel at $126 a night for something much newer and nicer. It’s a shame these people are guaranteed an income from the hospital booking patients and relatives there so they don’t need to do maintenance or upgrades.

Never ever again
Was supposed to stay here as i was support person to my brother in hospital HOWEVER I was suspicious on first view, reception was average looking but person pleasant. Went to my room upstairs it was dark and within minutes I heard loud swearing from the back...enough to make me feel unsafe. Very old and outdated, I felt unsafe and place felt very uncomfortable. Messaged my cousin and went to stay with her, Thank goodness. My brother has to go back n for a week and no way is he staying there we've found a much nicer one and closer and I'll personally pay the extra cost so that I know he is safe and comfortable.

Pleasant Homely vibes
Definitely a no frills experience dated facility worth the cheap cost . With the most freindly staff ready to accomadate you where they can. Close to town and shuttles to hospital. Very clean, rooms serviced daily.

Over Priced, Poorly Maintained and Not Recommended.
The photos seen in the booking process bore no resemblance to what we received. The motel is run down and in need of major upgrade. Whilst our room was relatively comfortable the kitchen facilities were completely run down and were on the dirty side. The bathroom window was opaque but if you showered at night your silhouette could be seen from the car park and street above. The morning I was greeted with a cold shower! On check in we were greeted by a women (Chinese) with poor english standing well behind a perspex barrier. It was difficult to relay our comments to her on how we found the condition of the motel.
