Great place to stay and not far to walk to the city. Room was perfectly clean and check-in was no trouble. Would definitely come back again.

Had previously stayed here so booked again. Under new management since last time. its a mixture of private apartments and short term stays.
The apartment is a nice size which is why i liked it before. But its getting tired. The new management obviously skimp on cleaning as there were finger prints around the toilet flush, food crumbs in the kitchen handles and the coffee table looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. Worse was I spilt some water on the sofa so wiped it up and the cloth was sooooo dirty from the sofa I immediately put a towel on the sofa to sit on. Disgusting. The sofa obviously never gets cleaned. The other issue is the smells in the corridor, either it smelt of curry or cigarette smoke. it was horrible.
I booked two rooms, only received check
in codes for one had to ask for the other
Stay somewhere else.

This place has the potential to be a great place to stay in Wellington, a few things to consider before booking Tory Apartments. 1) no hot water in the shower for 3 days , even after checking with them, no attempt to fix or move us.
2) trying to navigate through their 3 point access but somehow they have complicated this in an essay, other residents have been trying to get in with great difficulty
3) parking numeric system is a joke and badly marked, 1st day managed to find it and park, next day someone had parked in my parking, called the help office (Sydney) so polite and scripted but couldn’t help, don’t call you will be disappointed
4) no cleaning or change of towels during our stay

Cupboard hard to reach for shorter folks below 160cm. Parking had a 2.2m height restriction so had to pay and park else where.

The location was good
The first impression was OK
Homwever the furnishings are stained and very worn and the couch was very uncomfortable
The unit as stuffy especially the bedroom and it you opened a door the noise was disturbing
.
Our major concern was how slippery the bath became when showering and we consider the bathroom hazardous with no rail to steady oneself when exiting a slippery bath.
