Reasonable intermediate hotel within walking distance of Matra

It was chosen as a base for tourism in Matra. It was a 20-minute walk to Matra and a neat walk on the main street 30 minutes before the souk to the port of Matra, with fountains and good bakeries along the way. From the Luwi bus stop, take the number 4 bus and get off at a stop near Shell, one of the stops in front of Matra, and walk a short distance up the mountain side, a 5-6 minute walk. When I arrived early in the morning, they waited 30 minutes to clean my room and I was able to check in at 8:30. The rooms were large enough, the bathrooms were large, there was a bathtub and a veranda. It is a short distance from the main street, so there is no noise. The pool atmosphere is good with a rocky mountain just behind. There are refrigerators, safes, and other reasonable items, so it can be said that the price is reasonable.

A well-located, quiet, and clean hotel near Mutrah’s main attractions that offers excellent value for money.

The hotel’s location is very good, close to Mutrah Souk, the fish market, Mutrah Corniche, and the fort.
The atmosphere was good and comfortable.
The value for money was excellent, it was the perfect deal for my plan.
The hotel was generally clean and safe, with no noise at all.
The service was also good, and the staff were very friendly; they helped me with arranging a car rental.
The room was good, with more than enough space.
It had all the comfort I needed, especially since I was traveling on a budget.
The bathroom was also fine, nothing special, but more than adequate, with all the necessary amenities available. No surprises, just a simple and functional bathroom.

Best Hotel Riyam

Great hotel, and a very underrated hotel, amazing swimming pool with a mountain and ocean view.
Atif and Noman were great receptionist, very kind helpful at all times, we will use this hotel again.

Nice Hotel

Nice Budget friendly hotel.
Staff at reception was very helpful & courteous.
Room has a balcony & with a great view.
Location was good as Lulu mall was nearly 2kms & Mutrah was also very close to the hotels where one can enjoy shopping.
Wifi did not worked at all in my room & had very bad signals.

Great value

This hotel is great value compared to other hotels in the Muscat area.
Location wise it’s about a 20 minute walk to the old town by the port where the shops and restaurants are located.
The room was spacious with a large bed.
The shower wasn’t very powerful but it worked at least.
The swimming pool area is lovely but only has a couple of sun loungers available
