Correct for one night stay
Have a nice stay or a night with family.
Nice location.
Not much choice at dinner and breakfast.
Awakened in the morning by jackhammers, it’s a bit of a shame not to have been warned or at least to start the work a little later...
The room was very suitable.

disappointment
Eco lodge??
only in appearances! Huge and noisy air conditioner in the room, television (!!!) plastic bathroom products and microfiber towels. Not to mention the two generator turrets, disguised as pipes, but also very noisy all night. Discreet food.

Misleading Location and Limited Facilities
Despite the advertising, the location is not near the beach but in the desert.
There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, no internal phone, and no closet or cabinet available.
Additionally, if it rains, your car may get stuck in the mud due to the weak parking conditions.

We also apologize for the lack of in-room amenities like Wi-Fi, phones, as and storage. In regards to the parking to assure you that we have got ample number of parking inside and outside of the premises, which is maintained well. Good place but bad behavior
The SAMA Ras Al Jinz is very correct overall.
Its location to see the turtles is really good. Comfortable rooms.
On the other hand, being awakened at 6am by the sound of truck engine draining septic tanks is very unpleasant.
Also, if you want to visit the turtles, do not go through the hotel. Indeed, the official price is 12 OMR, while the hotel invoices 14 OMR. They take a commission by the way, which is normal. However, they asked if we pay in card or cash and after answering in cash, the price went up to 16 OMR per person supposedly because of taxes while at the place where there is activity they specified to me that there were no taxes.
Finally, my son asked for a drink and one of the staff responded very aggressively that it was not possible before 7pm.
The SAMA Ras Al Jinz is nice overall.
Its location for seeing the turtles is excellent. The rooms are comfortable.
However, being woken up at 6:00 AM by the noise of a septic tank emptying truck is very unpleasant.
Furthermore, if you want to go turtle watching, absolutely do not book through the hotel. The official price is 12 OMR, while the hotel charges 14 OMR. They take a commission, which is normal. However, they asked if we were paying by card or cash, and after we said cash, the price jumped to 16 OMR per person, supposedly due to taxes, even though the staff at the turtle attraction specifically told me there were no taxes.

Lodge on a human scale
Quality lodge 5 minutes drive from the entrance to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve. Very friendly staff, deluxe room of good level (very or even too large). Limited quantities for dinner in the evening, especially if you arrive during the evening.
