Worth the price

Visited my husband in Sohar and checked-in in this hotel apartment. I initially had fears as we were used to taking 3-4 star hotels prior. But their prices were cheap and so we opted to try. Well, this was definitely worth it!We took the one bedroom apartment and it was large enough for my husband and I. Although an induction cooker was present in the kitchen, cooking was not allowed (though we were aching to cook) The facilities were clean, the staff were very courteous, they respected your "alone" time and would rather have you call them if you want your room cleaned. They had a generous supply of bottled water, coffee and tea, creamer and the my most favorite part- their vanity kit (which had a shampoo, body wash, soap and lotion). Bath towels were changed regularly. Room charges included a decent breakfast. Heads up info: Please realize you are not paying more and so you should not expect an extravagant breakfast buffet. If you want extravagance then better opt for a 5 star hotel. The hotel's location is very ideal and walking distance to banks, hospital, pharmacies, local groceries and the newly assigned bus stop (no 30) of mwasalat (that would take u in and out of sohar). It was a very nice stay.

spacious and clean rooms, this hotel is acceptable for short stays, during road trips.
Is a good option while visiting SOHAR ports, few minutes away...

Two night stay - Business trip

A basic hostelry, clean and well positioned just off the highway near the Buraimi turnoff. Though it presents itself as an apartment hotel with small self catering suites, the small, dimly lit kitchens have a hotplate but no other means of preparing food, no pots or pans no plates, bowls or utensils, no washing up materials and a very small refrigerator. One toilet roll at a time also sends an unnecessarily frugal and parsimonious message. Air con is very good. WiFi is intermittent and low spec which is unhelpful and frustrating for business travelers who may need the internet for work. Peculiar cable TV account with a limited range of channels and no international news in English. Breakfast offering is basic and self help. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The Lebanese restaurant in the same building is good with a appetizing range of food and excellent service.

Very basic hotel

It is budget hotel/apartment. WiFi disconnects very frequently. Comfort for short stay (1-2 days). Laundry given outside, no clear tracking of clothes. Gym just for name sake. Location is good. Staff is helpful.
