Wonderful Stay Overall with One Area for Improvement

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel La Compañía del Valle. The property is beautiful, the surroundings are peaceful, and the amenities made it a great place to relax. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations.
The only issue I had was during check-in. One of the front desk employees came across as a bit cold, and I left feeling like I was being judged. There was very little eye contact or warmth during the interaction, and when I asked about my reservation, the conversation seemed to focus on the fact that I had booked the entry-level room. I booked through the Hyatt app, and the rates were similar to other room categories, so the comments felt unnecessary. I also noticed the interaction became friendlier once it was mentioned that I was a Hyatt member.
That experience stood out because every other staff member I encountered was welcoming and professional. Aside from check-in, I had a wonderful stay. I just think every guest should feel equally welcome and valued, regardless of the room they book or their membership status.

An extraordinary refuge

We spent 2 nights in this exceptional hotel! Everything is a pleasure for the eyes , hundreds of sculptures surprise us at each detour all more beautiful and original than each other! The staff is kind, courteous, dedicated and smiling! Finally the spa is extraordinary! Do not hesitate to give yourself this gift, healing and relaxation assured!

Fantastic hotel in the Valle. Really liked everything about it, restaurants were excellent and reasonably priced for the top notch food quality.
If I had to make one suggestion I think it should be clearer in the marketing that the spa area carries a $100 pass fee per person for 3 hours. A lot of the pictures are from the spa and I'd assumed I could exercise and use the sauna, but that's not so here...
I would not let that take away from a great stay though

A Gem Within a Gem

La Compañia El Valle is a gem within a gem. El Valle Anton is an amazing place. A village nestled in the crater of a dormant volcano with rich soil, an abundance of nature and waterfalls literally everywhere. When you walk the property of La Compañia El Valle, you taken aback by the lushness of the property and the statues that enhance the landscape. The center courtyard and pool feel like Tuscany with a more international vibe. The service is impeccable, the rooms are immaculate, and the emanates are abundant. What really separates La Compañia El Valle is the cuisine. The restaurants are great. The steakhouse has a cool vibe and great food. Terra, the vegetarian restaurant, has great views and a wonderful menu. Even the main restaurant off the lobby, with its beautiful gazebo over the pond, has a quirky, well rounded menu that should please virtually all tastes. We could have just spent the days lazing at the pool but the pull of El Valle is also irresistible, you have to get out and explore.

If you are looking for a getaway to recharge and rejuvenate, this is exactly what you are looking for. Each staff member is there totake care of your needs and the abundance of meditative and restorative activities. Will bring you back to life. Sound bath, yoga, and the spa were amazing, and the surrounding area is increíble.
