Perfect peaceful hostel!

Beautiful little hostel, amazingly comfy beds, lovely sunny court yard, very clean, very hot showers and a small but nice breakfast including! And a great location!! We were so confused why this Hostal was not completely full! It is great, we would definitely recommend! And cheap!

I would not recommend staying here, staffs are not attentive

Positive: comfortable bed and pillow, clean, bright room with windows, good WIFI
Negative: I have traveled for about 6 months in Peru. The double bed with shared bathroom costs 60 soles (Nov. 2018), which is quite expensive for Peruvian standard. The room is quite small, the shared bathrooms are all downstairs. So if you want to go to the bathroom in the night you have to use the very narrow, steep stairs. The staff are not very attentive. One staff didn't tell us that there is breakfast in the morning. We didn't get any towels for the price 60 soles. I had to beg for one towel. In the night I took a shower and there was only hot water for 1-2 minutes. The next day I complained and the staff said that I have to turn the faucet off for the second time and turn it on again, but why didn't he tell me that before? Breakfast was a joke. The staff only gave me little butter and jam. The staff didn't fill the empty hot water.
I won't stay here again. The next day we moved to the neighbor hotel.

Very sociable and likeable

When you enter this Hostal you feel immediately welcome. This hostal stands out for its hospitality. For allone travellers a very good choice. My single room was clean and comfortable for a very reasonable price. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals. It is not tidy but ok. All in all I can definately recommend this place.

Nice stay, comfy beds

I’ve stayed in this hostal for new year eve. The Hostal is code and clean. And bed, cover and pillow were the most comfy I’ve ever experienced in my trip.
The breakfast was basic, I wish they could keep an eye better when smth is running out, but maybe it was just because of New Year. And keep in mind you cannot cook there. Only buy food. Though they cook very tasty and you can ask for a hot water for you tea.
And one more thing that seemed to me really strange. I’ve stayed in only for girls dorm, but as it was New Year and they had some mistakes (I guess) in bookings, so 2 boys were accommodated in our dorm. I didn’t mind, the only disappointed that nobody from staff didn’t tell about this before. I think it was not really polite.
Apart from that it was nice stay.
By the way location is good, near to plaza but on the way from city center you need to go up))) but this is Cusco)))

Nice Location, Clean and Quiet

I spent over a week in the hostel. It is clean and located a few blocks away from Plaza De Armas. Staff (most of them volunteers) are friendly and helpful. Dorms are clean and quiet. They have giant lockers, enough to lock in a backpack. Each bed has a reading lamp and a power socket. I totally enjoyed my stay in Andean Soul.
