Poor service at reception

The hotel receptionists were very confused and had poor control. We got no information about when the breakfast was when we checked in and when it was 10.00 in all other places we assumed that it was this too. 09.20 we went down for breakfast and then it is closed at 9.00. I talk to the receptionist o says that we have not received any information about the breakfast o if they can bring out any bread or similar anyway. She says no and points to a sign at the reception that says breakfast is 9:00. We believe that it is not our job as a guest to have to find out such information ourselves and when they are not helpful when they have done wrong, it is extremely poor service and lack of commitment. Doesn't exactly seem like the female receptionist was particularly interested in helping us with anything they did wrong. However, the maids were super nice and the guy who helped us with the bags was very helpful and kind!

Comfortable Stay in a Convenient Location

We stayed at El Puma Hotel with our G Adventure tour, and it turned out to be perfectly adequate for our needs. The location is one of its strongest points — just a 10‑minute walk to the main tourist area, with plenty of local shops nearby for picking up essentials.
The hotel itself is a little dated, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Their English wasn’t perfect, yet communication was never a problem, and they always tried their best.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, which made for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was acceptable, with a selection of bread, fruit, cheese, and eggs. We did occasionally need to ask for items to be replenished, and the coffee wasn’t always hot, but overall it did the job.
If you’re looking for a simple, well‑located place to stay, El Puma Hotel is a solid option.

Do Not Stay Here

Don't stay here...they dont provide hairdryers and the wifi is NOT fast!!!Grotty is the word I would use to describe my room (603).

Good location

The good:
* A good location, it is about a kilometer and a half from the main square, has some museums nearby, the market nearby.
*There are restaurants nearby, of all kinds, for all tastes.
*The toilet is done every day.
The bad:
*It is a hotel that needs renovation, it has no heating.
*Wifi is very unstable.
*It only has an elevator, which is small, then you have to wait several turns or climb the stands, which given the altitude sickness is a little uncomfortable.
*Breakfast is regular, but the coffee is always cold, and they never refill food on time, so you have to be patient to have breakfast in peace.
