Definitely recommended

Hugely friendly, very clean but don't underestimate the cold.
The breakfast is top notch and the tea you can consume continuously is pleasant. Good luggage storage system if you take a trip for a few days.

So disappointing

I have to preface my comments by saying the staff were wonderful & friendly. Also the breakfast was very nice & the location is excellent. For starters the room floor wasn’t level. My wheelie hand luggage would roll across the floor. I lost track of the number of times I hit my head off the low ceiling above the bed. The bathroom was freezing. There was no hot water in the sink. We were situated directly above the reception so loud conversations were the norm. The exterior wall of the room faced the street so around 6am every morning the sound of the local rubbish trucks woke us. I note from other reviews that many other travellers loved this accommodation but sorry to say it wasn’t for us.

Charming boutique hotel with amazing staff and breakfast.

The Hotel Staff was hard working, friendly and helpful. Special mention to Yuliana and Wagner who made my friend and I feel welcome and at home. Both were so helpful in making sure we had taxis when needed, a warm fire built when asked and unlimited hot tea. The Chef (I cannot recall his name) always had a wonderful breakfast buffet available…the best I’ve ever experienced staying at a hotel. The charm of this boutique hotel can’t be beat! It was cold in the mornings and evenings but the electric plate heaters on the walls helped along with the hot showers. One room I stayed in was quite noisy but it was the Peruvian Independence Day while we were there. The cleanliness and upkeep of the property was wonderful.

Great room, all areas welcoming & beautiful: some spaces were like being in a gallery;, staff helpful, comfortable bed, hot shower water, quiet room, great wifi & location (close to old city centre). We couldn’t have breakfast as our tour started early. Highly recommend.
