Home away from home!!! 11/10 recommend

The house is soooo beautiful and very well kept!!! The rooms are cozy and tidied every day. The house itself is situated just off a street from which you can catch a 10min bus ride to the main plaza -- or just walk! The food is absolutely delicious (better than most restaurants) and they cook it fresh, from-scratch for us every day!! Not to mention that the staff are so friendly and willing to do anything for you. The only thing I'd mention is that after a rainy night the doors get a little hard to open lol

More than just a hotel

Posada el Castillo was my home away from home in Arequipa. Zenet and the rest of the staff were excellent and kept the rooms spotless. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, as are lunch and dinner. I miss the delicious juices! I was in a big room in the main house, and we had an excellent view from our window of Chachani in the distance and the city to the other side. The sunsets were incredible! Zenet worked hard to fix any issue we encountered, and by the end of our stay the water in our shower was nice and hot. I hope I can return someday!

Charming hotel

Excellent experience!!. A charming place, very well located just 20 minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas. The room we touched was spacious (like the previous times), the beds are super comfortable. It highlights the cleanliness and attention of the staff, super friendly and always willing to help us, it is the third time I stayed at this charming Hotel. The unbeatable breakfast was the best morning coffee I ever drank. Waking up as if you were in the middle of nature, the tranquility and security you feel is amazing. I will definitely stay at this Hotel every time I go to the city of Arequipa.

Home sweet home

As a college group of 35, we got to live here for three months. Zenet, who runs the hotel, is a wonderful host. She and the staff are all very kind and caring for everyone. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were wonderful everyday. They all work extremely hard to make everyone as comfortable as possible. As soon as they learn about a problem, it is fixed. Castillo is wonderful!!

A delightful historic house: cozy, charming, and accommodating.

Posada el Castillo is a wonderful inn, with a quaint atmosphere and homey, comfortable accommodations. Zenet Schreuders, the owner, is the kindest and most hospitable person you’ll ever meet. My stay was with a large group (30+ visitors), and we all had an excellent experience. It is also conveniently located right across the street from a supermarket, and is a mere 20 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas.
